RE: Thomas O. Cassaday
By any chance is this him?
Find A Grave Memorial# 155113658

Some one has him listed in Haines Cemetery here in Pekin, But I went through that cemetery and even listed the names in the cemetery book that either didn't have markers or markers that I couldn't decipher the name on. And he was not on those lists.

I am a genealogist and ran across your entries in my research. We are related. Your grandfather Jim Jensen is a first cousin to my grandmother. I have done extensive work on the family and have a few pics of him when he was young. Feel free to contact me.

No, I am sorry. I saw your note and just haven't gotten back to you. I've been traveling for work and we have two boys and they are both in scouts and football so I am running them around constantly. I will answer back soon.

RE: John W.C. Keener
Hi Gerold,
Nice to hear from you. My connection to John WC Keener is through his daughter Mary E Keener who married David Kennedy. They ended up in Hickory County, MO where Mary's daughter Nora (1875-1944) married into the Hart family from there. She married Robert Allen Hart (1874-1958). They lived in that area around Hartville all their lives and a lot of old stories were passed down which I heard when I was little. The old Hart cemetery on the Lucas Oil property is where Nora and her parents are buried along with her husband and many of her children. We went out and cleaned it up a few years ago. Her granddaughter was my grandmother.

It was just a few years ago that I was able to make the connection to the Keener family for sure through the internet records. I was very pleased to see where I could look up where John Keener was in Find-a-grave. It's getting to be better and better all the time. I am trying to put some of my information and pictures out there to help other people out.

RE: Keener
Hello, Gerold. David Keener was my uncle also. He was married to my aunt Verna Chadwick. Someone mentioned to you that I was related to a Wm Finch, but it was actually Warren Finch - he was my grandfather.

My aunt Verna later remarried to Kenneth Shenk. She had 2 children - David Keener and Louella Keener.

Verna Chadwick was my Daddy's sister. How are you related?

I posted pictures to Paul Keener's memorial. I am going to the library Friday. Would you like me to look up his obituary?
