RE: Hannah F. Harris Brown 1836-1907
Hi Jackie,
So glad you are enjoying the photos. The older couple is DL Brown and Hannah Harris Brown. Only the couple's children, grandchildren and spouses are in the photos. I will put a better caption on them with identification.

RE: Edward Potter #11420334
Thanks for your reply Jackie. I just came upon Edward's page while searching for his daughter Polly's parents to include while linking her to her husband. Been working on that family from their tree. Thanks for the transfer offer, but I don't think it would make sense - I can't pursue that trail. 'Bye now - Janis

Marie Melville Erskine
Jackie-I'm a historian up here in Sanilac County MI, annotating the journal of the Port Sanilac lighthouse keeper's wife, who mentioned the Erskines in her journal. I was wondering if you have a dod for Marie Melville Erskine, wife of Edward Fredrick Erskine. I know she died between 1920 and 1930, but have not been able to track down a date. Thanks.

Joseph Hall
John Hall of Barnstable, MA
In the bioon Find-A-Grave it states that John Hall was born 1611 in Coventry, England. Yet, in the parental links, it has 1605.

Have you ever found a will on John or have you ever had your DNA tested? I'm asking this for a specific reason.

If you wouldn't mind, could you email me at I'd like to discuss this further.

Thank you.

RE: Ada Van Stone Harris
Jackie, sorry about the delay. I don't know a lot about the Harris family, but it would certainly appear that the author, Ada VanStone Harris, has to be the one on FindAG.
I'll see if there's any connection to you or your family. The book alone makes a strong case for a connection. If nothing else, I'd probably like to update the bio to include the book, once I confirm that we're both 'on the same page', so to speak.
Let me look a little more into Ada and the book. In the meantime, could you send a few pages and any bio information from the book to my email address that's listed on FindAG?
I only started connecting the family last spring, and there are lots of holes in the tree.
Also let me know if you find any connections on your end.
Thanx for the news. It's an unexpected bit of trivia for the VanStones!
