|Earl Weir||Julia Weir Burgess|
Cleaned the stone with a soft, natural bristle brush, and a solution of water and calcium hypoclorite, which is also known as HTH, and then a thorough rinsing with clean water. HTH is a chemical used to shock swimming pool water. My search on the net says this process won't cause any harm to marble, like bleach and water might. It took about an hour to clean Julia's stone, her husband William Burgess's stone and their daughter Minnie's. It is not as good as a professional cleaning, but only cost about $20.00, and does look a lot better.
