Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised near Joliet, Illinois I have lived for the past 30 years in Northeastern Pennsylvania. For the past few years I've been researching my family tree with a lot of help from the internet community and some family. The surnames I'm researching stretch out from GRELL, BARKER, BOSNER, MCFETRIDGE, ENLOW, PUBERSKI, STROH, and on and on. As repayment to those who have helped me in my search (and continue to do so), I'm willing to lend a hand to anyone I can who might be seeking information on their family, whether or not they are connected to mine.

Pat, thank you for posting the picture of my Great Grandma! I have here nose and favor her quite a bit. My grandma is Carrie stroh Hausmann. My sister was named after her.
Thank you

Basically any cemetery or monument place local even. They just need to know where you want it. I work with Pat at Laurel Hill Cemetery or Randy at Valhalla Cemetery.

Sorry, I am not related to this person. I was working on putting names in this cemetery that were not yet listed. Good hunting.

Sorry so long getting back to you. There is no indication who his wife was so must have been the only name on the stone. Kay

Hi Pat,
I went back on took a closer look at the maiden name on her death cert. You were correct. I have corrected it on her memorial. Thank you for bringing that to my attention!

I would guess it is Vivian but will have to check on that. It will be a week or so before I can get to it. Kay

St. Peter's Lutheran in Joliet
I would enjoy communicating with you regarding the Hiller and Grell families in Joliet. My grandmother's family was from Joliet, and they lived for many years on N. Hickory Street and attended St. Peter's Lutheran Church on Broadway. My family (Barz) were apparently good friends with the Hillers and lived close to each other in Germany. Many other families from the same area ended up in Joliet, which makes me wonder if it was coordinated and planned. Robert Uebel
