Hello. Cicero Buxton is my great grandfather son of Dew Buxton. My father James Buxton recently pased August this year. Im lookin for info on Alziny Buxton ..Dews mother. Was told Dews father was a Hogan not a Buxton. Alzinys "husband" is listed as Mr Buxton but she never married. I would love to see a picture of Alziny and/or know were she is buried. Desperatly seeking answers...descandant of Ware/Buxtons of Oakhill Cemetary in Oakdale, Louisiana.

I believe Joe's mother to be Susie Willis Strother Parker #24572413.

Am copying Joe's obit below if you wish to add to his memorial. (Judy sent this originally thru the "Edit" request button. Let me know if you need me to resend obit.

RE: only a wee bit active now

Wish I could remember what I wanted to ask or tell you but I am drawing a blank. Should have written it down. Too many days have passed.

I hope you will continue with Find A Grave. I enjoy reading the memorials and leavings flowers.

Wish you a wonderful week.

PS Thanks for answering me

Ebenezer Cemetery, Weston, Jackson Parish, LA
Thought you would want to know. It was brought to my attention that Ebenezer Cemetery, Weston is one-and-the-same cemetery listed on as Ebenezer Cemetery, CHATHAM, Jackson Parish. My cousin, who has family buried at Ebenezer Cemetery, and lived in Chatham writes:
"The problem is name of location. For years the area was considered Weston, and Ebenezer Cemetery is nearer to Weston than Chatham. It may have to do with the post office changes, because that the area is now called Chatham".
You may want to move your memorials to Ebenezer Cemetery, Chatham, Jackson Parish location.

Dew Buxton
I love the pictures of Dew you posted. He is my Great grandfather. My grandmother was his daughter, Mary. Would you be willing to send me copies of those pictures? I had one, but it was taken when dad died. If you will, email me at I would really appreciate it.

Douglas Ware
My grandfather was Douglas Ware. I see that you have him listed as Douglas James Ware. I had never heard what Douglas's middle name was James.

My father, his son was Dennis James Ware.
