I am my family's amateur genealogist and have been working on our extended family tree for years. I enjoy creating memorials for family members from the information I've found during my research.|

|Joanne Ikeda||John Hopewell|
I have a request. Please connect my 3rd Great Grandmother Nancy Hopewell #158520986 to her parents
Hopewell, John (99894214) Sarah Edwards (77008268
I will really appreciate it. John & Sarah are my 4th Great Grand parents, looks like we can be related.
|John Edw. Clerk||RE: John Hopewell Memorial|
OK, as long as you both are aware it's a duplicate... Yours should take precedence, so I'm not sure what FindAGrave would do. I've heard they can be merged. He's a Revolutionary War Vet...he deserves the best! His stone, the tree trunk, is one of the very first stone my dad ever showed me at that cemetery when I was a kid (My family is all buried in Mt Zion and I'm its trustee).

How are you related to John Hopewell? There is another memorial created by a direct descendant who falls within the 4 generation rule.
I hope you can work with her and work out the duplication. She has already left you a message last summer. Please advise.

If you are a direct descendant for John Hopewell would you please let me know how. I am always glad to meet any descendants.
I understand about your memorial since you are related. Hope you will respond and let me know of your relationship. Since you published your memorial earlier than I then it is required for me to delete mine.
I am related to John & Sarah through their daughter Nancy Hopewell that married Robert Calvert. It would be nice to know your lineage,
|peter millet||Amelia Rose|
I have a handwritten will, from Amelia Rose,1778-1863, dated 1858, regarding the grove plantation in Charleston, SC. She was sister to Arthur Gordon Rose, whose daughter Amelia Laura Rose gave birth to Arthur Rose Geurard, 1851-1937.If you are interested, I can send you a copy of the file. I have no relation, however the will was in the pages of some old books in my father's library, hence the interest on my part. I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org

|Debra Hartzell Edwards||Eugenie|
I don't know what happened. I sent the picture along with other family pictures on the 13th as a reply to your email. I will send them again right now. Please let me know if you get them and what you think.
|Debra Hartzell Edwards||Eugenie Engels Guerard|
I have a digital portrait of who I believe is Eugenie (no name to identify). Contact me at email@example.com if you want me to send it to you.
|Debra Hartzell Edwards||Sir Robert Innes lineage|
Ancestry calculated that Henry VII is my 13th great grandfather, so he is your 14th.
Here is the paternal line of Sir Robert Innes, father of Margaret Innes:
King Robert III of Scotland Stewart (1337 - 1406)
James I King of Scotland Stewart (1394 - 1435)
Son of King Robert III of Scotland
James II, King of Scotland Stewart (1430 - 1460)
Son of James I King of Scotland
King James III of Scotland Stewart (1451 - 1488)
Son of James II, King of Scotland
King of Scotland James IV Stewart (1473 - 1513)
Son of King James III of Scotland
Margaret Jane Stewart (1497 - 1537)
Daughter of King of Scotland James IV
Margaret Drummond (1528 - 1568)
Daughter of Margaret Jane
Elizabeth Elphinstone (1561 - 1613)
Daughter of Margaret
Rt Hon. Sir Robert Innes (1584 - 1658)
Son of Elizabeth
Sir Robert Innes (1619 - 1689)
Son of Rt Hon. Sir Robert
MARGARET INNES (1640 - 1676)
Daughter of Sir Robert
Yesterday I visited with my cousin Penelope, daughter of Roland Guerard (famous ballet dancer) who is the son of Madeline and Arthur. She gave me a copy of a picture of Madeline which I posted on my tree. She also has the Bonclarken book and an origional Rx booklet of Arthur. We both suspect her daughters Madeline Violet and Marguerite are also Arthur's daughters and only claimed them to be her children from her deceased husband as a cover up for their affair since he was still married to Eugenie. The book indicated that the girls looked like the other Guerard children, so people must have thought they were his daughters. As we all are aware, an affair producing children would have been frowned upon in Charleston society or in any society at that time.
I found portraits of Margaret Smith's parents, Judge William Smith and Mary Dubois Het; and the portraits of Amelia Rose Guerard's great grandparents, Col John Gibbes and Mary Woodward.
The Smith family are very fasinating. Joshua Hett Smith, the youngest of the family was accused of treason with Benedict Arnold. There is a fabulous book that includes much on the family. http://www.amazon.com/Accomplice-Treason-Joshua-Hett-Smith/dp/B002AQ1EX4
