Krys: Thank you so much for helping with this problem. Wish I knew who started this cemetery on find-a-grave? It really doesn't matter and there are lots of duplicates, etc. so it won't ever be perfect. We started out with 53 people listed at Cape Girardeau City Cemetery and now down to 38. I did send a message to find-a-grave and told them about it because a lot of the people are not responding. Perhaps they combined the two memorials, but I did not do that - mainly because I don't know how. LOL Any way I transferred it to you and you can add or take away anything you would like. Most of them, as you said, have "city cemetery" listed on their death certificate and one would have to know which city cemetery they were burying people in at the time - that is hard to do . We retired teachers are still hard to deal with - we want it done right. But what can I say - it was our training. Now you have a great day and thanks again. Ruth Smith

Hello - We have a problem with memorial pages that have been placed in a non existent cemetery here in Cape. There is no Cape Girardeau City Cemetery. We do have 3 city cemeteries: Fairmount, New Lorimier and Old Lorimier. Claud Franklin Zoellner - your page #6577014 is buried at Fairmount and his memorial page number there is #114038772. My suggestion is that you combine your memorial with mine, or delete yours and I will transfer mine to you. The reason you probably could not find him is on the Fairmount records, he was listed as Clara F Zoellner. Believe me, it has been a chore to tract that down. There were 53 people listed in this wrong cemetery and your's is the last one for me to contact. PTL Thanks for your help and I will send an edit also. Ruth Smith

|Kathy in NW Indiana||Philip Anello|
While working on the Anello's in Calvary and getting distracted I accidentally deleted Philip. I have added him again with a new number. So sorry.

You are very welcome.

Thank you so much for finally getting back to me. I am very grateful for the transfer. I am also glad to hear that you are finding time again to get back into genealogy. When people first discover that another person has took the time to document an obit and connect the dots, it brings great happiness that someone else cares about who the person was if only briefly during your hobby. I wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.

They were lovely people and they touched so many by their love and devotion to each other. What a beautiful love story they had together....
Have a great day!
|Carol Kaye||RE: Japser Oller|
You are welcomed. Is his first name spelled right, or is it Jasper?
