McBryde's in Pike County

I sent you an e-mail regarding what you know of the McBryde's of Pike County, Alabama as I descend from the African American McBryde family. I think my ancestors may have been enslaved by Rev. William Julius McBryde. My family eventually ended up in Spring Hill.

I was in Myrtlewood Cemetery in Fort Deposit Alabama last week researching my family. I took a photo of Woodrow & Marion Wilson's graves and have added them to their memorials. I don't know if you know but there is a child, 2 days old, Janet buried next to them. I have added her photo as well. Not sure if she is a daughter or not but there were no other Wilson's close by. I hope this is helpful

Winifred Tippit
Hello Maggie,
We communicated a few years ago about Winifred Tippit Carroll. I still have the information you gave me at that time. Thank you.

Have you found additional information about her. Is it possible that she is buried in Spring Hill Cemetery at Troy?

Best regards,

Joe W. Tippit Sr.

RE: Alva Lee Carroll Ward Memory Hill
Hi Maggie. I have put the correct parents with Alva Lee Carroll Ward. Sorry I got that wrong. I can do nothing about the memorial for Dock S. Carroll as another person is manager of that memorial. Ronda.
