Hello! I am wondering where the picture of George Washington Tomey (1814-1882) comes from? How confident are you that this is in fact him? Can I get a higher resolution copy of this photograph? Do you have any photographs of his son Thomas Bradley Tomey?

Thank you Paula for your reply on the Scott family.
My grandfather Raymond Scott would be the brother to Ed and I do slightly remember Pauline. I also have pictures of the brothers and their sister Ruth together. Raymond Scott had a family farm in the rural area outside of Roma,Iowa too where I spent many happy days growing up. I do not keep up with this site as well as I should, so if you would like, send me a personal message with your email to:
I will see the message quicker. Haha.

Hi- My name is Jackie and I'm directly related to many/most of the Scott family that is buried in Grant Cemetery. We must be related. My Grandfather was Raymond P. Scott and his daughter, Martha was my mom. I ran across these pictures of all the Scott family while doing research through another site. It says it was created by shirleyw55 but maintained by dgswan99 (related?). I tried her email but it's said to be turned off? My mom's sister is named Shirley so I don't know if perhaps it was her or not. Thanks to whomever added them. It's greatly appreciated. I ended up with A LOT of pictures (some unmarked) and info from my Grandma Scott's (Thelma) genealogy records. She was big into genealogy and I remember going to many cemeteries with her over the yrs. Who knew, at the time, I would end up with her love and interest of genealogy for our family. I'm just starting out, so I have a lot to learn here. =) In time when I figure out how to do it, I will gladly add pictures. Thanks again!

I am interested in knowing if you have a connection to Anna Louisa Benson Tomey. If you do, do you know anything about her Benson line? I have been trying to track the descendants of a couple of my great, great-grandfather's older brothers who moved to Ohio in the mid eighteen hundreds and it seems she was one of them.
