Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm working a lot on my family tree, so this site has been a natural growth from there. I've also been adding entries from transcriptions of cemeteries that have been done by others over the years. Many of them I've found on the internet and others are in book form. I love old and historical things, so this is a neat way for me to give back to the genealogical community.

RE: Duplicate Memorial page
Your's was created 1st so I'd wait a little bit before you delete it. The other page for Glays F Griffeth/Griffith Fry was created in 2015. I was, however, able to send the person who created it a message about if being a duplicate last night, via the other corrections & suggestions link. So I suppose it's entirely up to you if you want to wait a little bit to see if they delete theirs or you want to go a head & delete yours...just thought I'd make you both aware both pages are out there.

Duplicate Memorial page
Memorial # 146285346 is a Dupicate for the same person Gladys F (Griffith/Griffeth) Fry. I tried to let the person who created the duplicate page, but they have disabled their message options.

It would be great if you could contact me regarding this cemetery. You have a lot of good information on findagrave and I am researching this cemetery. A fraternal organization I belong to are working on cleaning and restoring this cemetery for historical purposes and for the purpose of it being used as an active cemetery in the near future. You can email me at or call me at 785-766-1569.

RE: Louis Jefferson Parker
It's okay with me if you leave Jefferson on the memorial. He seems to have wanted that to be his middle name so we will let him have his wish.

RE: Louis Jefferson Parker
My grandmother, Ella, told me that none of the kids had middle names except for the youngest one. I've never seen any middle names on any records.

Louis Jefferson Parker
May I ask what your source is for the middle name of Jefferson? Louis was my grandmother's brother.

You are very welcome. I try to go by when I make it back. It just inspired me this year to try to get the pictures, as it was so lush and beautiful. I wasn't sure of who had a picture so I pretty much took the whole cemetery. Did miss a few. Will have to try to get those next time.

For your consideration -
Been working on C.Z.'s family since coming home for KS.. I looked up the cemetery records for Elvan and they say there is no marker for him. Thought you might like to put that ias a notation on his memorial, so that people will know. Also his W.W.I Draft records has the unusual spelling for his middle name as Lessley, though they spelled it the usual way on his records at the cemetery. Thought you might like to know.

Added a new picture for you. I was back there over the Memorial Day weekend. It was a beautiful day and it had been raining the night before, so everything seemed so clean. A lot better than the old one with the burnt grass.
