Mary D'Antoni
Avery,

I saw the edit you wish to change for Mary D'Antoni. Before I accept or reject that change I will need your opinion. I have no doubt that her maiden name was Cangelosi, but it would also appear that she was married with the surname Brocato, which would have been her name when she married Salvador D'Antoni.

I go by whatever appears on the headstone, and her name was listed as Mary Cangelosi Brocato D'Antoni. I do not know the circumstances of her remarriage. I will assume that Mr. Brocato died rather than was divorced.

I saw by your bio that you are researching the Cangelosi name from your mother's side. I always try to accede to the wishes of family members who have a greater knowledge than I on their family matters. I would like your opinion before I make the change. Would it be acceptable if I placed both Cangelosi Brocato (which appears on the name plate) under the maiden name, rather than list Cangelosi as the middle name?

I would hate to remove the Brocato name as it appears on the tomb, but I will do so if you request it.

Joe

Thank you so much for sharing the birth certificates, it's sincerely appreciated. I've edited their memorials with the correct dates and locations. Better late than never! ;-)

Re: Cascio requests, Roselawn, Baton Rouge, LA
In the same plot are

Victor J Cascio 1906-1986
Annie Muffoletto Cascio 1907-1998
Ivy Bernice Johnson (Patin-I think) 1911-1985
Jewel Pollak Gilmore 1929-1969
David C Humphreys 1911-1974
Sara Bennett Epps 1891-1977

I think that is all. Don't know if and/or how they may be related. Plots are usually sold in sets of 6 */- in this cemetery for family burials. Should you need better, clearer photos, please do not hesitate.

Hi Avery,
I've taken photos of all of the St. James Vaults. There is no marker with Sarah's name. there are 2 vaults with Cangelosi's on the stones. I can add a photo of the St. James section for you but cannot find Sarah. Let me know if you want me to do this.

RE: Mary Bell Williams
There is a picture of the headstone of Mary Belle Williams attached to her entry at findagrave.

You can find burial records at www.cityofrensselaerin.com/department/?fDD=15-0

Scroll all the way to the bottom and get the Weston Cemetery Burial Records 1843-1995.

If you like, I can send you a picture of the cemetery map of that area. It appears that there are seven burials in the lot, though I can find records of only five.
