Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in Geneaology for years but only able to do research a little bit at a time. It's an interesting past time that I seem to get deeply involved with once I get going. Also, photography, bird watching and scrapbooking

Rebecca Burk
Good Morning, Denise.

I have the records for the Brooklyn Cemetery, what there are. I have a handwritten card stating the following information: Rebecca Burk, born 1858 (calculated from death). Died March 3, 1917 in Marion County, Center Township, Indianapolis, Indiana. Buried March 5, 1917 in the Brooklyn Cemetery. Unfortunately without further research, I can't give you the Lot #, not on the card where it should be. She was age 59 and died of intestinal nephritis. The doctor at the time of death was Mr. C. E. Woods. The funeral home was Finn Brothers. The address of death was 439 Chadwick. After research, I did locate the burial permit which I will try to scan and send to you. Still cannot find Lot #. Sorry, this is all I have. Pat

I try to create memorials for families served by Almon F.H. and the 3 locations of Martin-Hightower F.H. Since my family has lived in Carroll County since 1820, I am familiar with the cemeteries and family connections/links.
Good luck!

Hi Denise,
Hilda & I were not personally acquainted. I try to create memorials for those people served by two of the local funeral homes. If you are a friend or family member, I would be happy to transfer Hilda's memorial to you.
Thanks for your interest!
Don
