|Helen McDarment||george w dobbs|
George W. Dobbs was married to the sister of my great-great grandfather James Wesley Campbell. Her name was Sarah Jane Campbell. They married in 1855 in Allen County, Ky. In the posting about George's death, info is listed about Sarah. Do you know when and where she died? I have seen info that it was in Keysville, Crawford, Mo. but I have been unable to verify that data. Any assistance you can provide will be appreciated. Helen McDarment, Louisville, Kentucky.

I was wondering if you knew who the other siblings of George were? My grt grt grandfather William Dobbs was born in Allen County, KY in 1825 and based on 1830-40 census records, I think he was also a son of Henry S Dobbs. Also it appears his other sisters may have been Martha J Dobbs Bright and Kisiah Dobbs Dye. The Brights, Dyes and G W Dobbs all lived in Christian Co, MO in 1900 & 1910. I'm also wondering about Fielding Dobbs b abt 1809 TN. He and my William Dobbs lived near each other in 1850 in Pulaski Co, MO. Could he have been the oldest brother? If you have any info on those Dobbs, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks, Nancy Johnson

Wanted to let you know that I posted monument photos for Margaret Dolan Brett at St. Anthony. I will also create a page for her husband Isaac, and son Isaac if you'd like (also have their photos). Isaac Sr is on the large monument, Jr. has a marker. George is suppose to be in the area as well but I didn't see. I can try again next time.
