RE: Rinker Family
Jacob Rinker was in the Civil War too. He was in the 153rd Regiment which served at Gettysburg. I have the following listed in his Find A Grave Memorial 19720508:

At the age of 19 he enlisted as a private in Company B, One hundred and Fifty-third Regiment, under Captain Joseph A. Fry. He was honorably discharged on July 24, 1863, at Harrisburg. Later he re-enlisted in Company N, Pennsylvania Volunteers, and became a corporal in a cavalry corps under Captain A.K. Seip. He was honorably discharged at Cloud Mills VA on July 16, 1865.

My husband and I made a trip to Gettysburg and found where the 153rd were stationed during the battle and visited those specific areas. Jacob's name is listed on the Pennsylvania Memorial at Gettysburg since he fought there.

Since he was missing a GAR marker on his grave at Easton Heights Cemetery, we obtained one from the county and placed it and a flag on his grave site.

RE: Rinker Family
On the Furry family I found what I thought might have been Anna's brother, John Furry, Find A Grave Memorial#80433361. I can't remember now why I thought it was her brother, I would have to check my records.

My husband's 2X great grandfather was Jacob Rinker, son of John & Anna Rinker.

RE: Rinker Family
Hi Tim,

I haven't been working on the Rinker family lately. I only have back to John 1803-1880 at this point. I know I need to go to Allentown to check out the wills and records in Lehigh County because I think that might help find the next generation.

I did check out Rinker records at the Forks Archives which is what led me to believe I needed to go to Lehigh.

Are you back any further?

If I find anything I will pass it along.

RE: Adam /Lydia Troxell
Hi Tim,

I did stop at the Lehigh County Historical Society today and checked for Adam & Lydia Troxell. Here are their entries in these two books exactly as they appear. I only took pictures in the Lower Cemetery.
