|Pat ||Mt. Bloom - Spaulding name|
I am looking at the stone in the picture and it is spelled without the u. Also checking the Mt. Bloom index, it too lists those names with the spelling of Spalding. I just entered Erastus Spaulding as that is how it is listed in the index, but it too could be Spalding. I will try and ck that out as there are many misspelled names. Have a great wkend. Pat

Thought you would want to know the rest of the story about George "Casey" Shaffer Jones. His mother was Emma Amanda Shaffer. She married Warren N. England and had 2 daughters, but he died in 1877 when he was 29 years old. Emma remarried William Jones in 1890 and they had one son, George Shaffer Jones. Thanks for all of your contributions to Find a Grave!

Please create a Memorial page for 1st wife Nancy. I see you already have a photo of her grave at Limerick Cemetery.
Her name was Nancy J. Clark, b. February 7, 1819 at St. Clairsville, Belmont County, Ohio; married Enos May 11, 1848 and died March 12, 1858 at Princeton, Bureau County, Illinois, about a month following the birth of son Taylor.

Thank you for taking the time to capture my 2nd great uncle's marker. I really appreciate you doing this.
|cataholic4ever||RE: Conflicting middle name Norman Forrest Long|
I added the extra info into the bio for him, like this:
*World War I Draft Registration shows his name as Norman Forrest Long
* Social Security Application lists him as Norman Forrest Long
* Death Cert shows name as Norman Foster Long
* Obit from paper shows name as Norman Foster Long
I used the obit and death cert for his middle name though the other two sources show his middle name as Forrest. So, his middle name could either be Forrest or Foster.
Since it's a two for two variance with the middle name I will keep the middle name as Foster for now. Thank you for the extra information though and like I said I did add it to the bio for others to see.
Have a great day!
