hi looking into little william, I believe his parents are william john gamble jr. and hannah elizabeth gowdy, I looked at the death cert and the address was listed as 1824 dickinson, phil. I also looked at the 1900 census of william john gamble its also listed as 1824 dickinson phil. also the 1910 census, hannah on 1910 census is listed as having two children only on surviving, that being daughter mary, hopes this helps some, joe coulson

Hi, My maiden name is Eaton. Whenever I see a Eaton tombstone I like to take a picture and try to see if it is a relative of mine. I am related to Eatons from Laporte and Porter County. I will transfer Ruth to you.

Do you have any information about JS's residence? I am currently working on rebuilding a log cabin in Virginia that was supposedly owned by James Samuel Eaton. I found a wealth of info at the Rockingham Co. Historical Society in Daqton, VA. However there was nothing there about his place of residence, other than Stonewall District and McGaheysville. The cabin we are working on is located adjacent to Shenandoah National Park, near Elkton, VA. Pictures are on www.argowcabin.com. Any information or leads would be appreciated.
