I am respectfully asking that you do not contact me to add information on a memorial if it is my own family, i.e. McDermott, Shannon, Davis, Johnston and/or Marella. I'm aware of the spouses, I'm aware of the children, and I'm aware of how Findagrave works. Unlike a lot of people here, I am not retired, I work every day and do not have all the time in the world to work on my memorials. I will get to them, and I find so many people just continually telling me what to do it's getting irritating. I will get to it all promise, I don't need to have six people emailing me to add a spouse on my great grandfather when I'm perfectly aware of it. Thanks though, but please stop.|

That is odd....
I checked Owen Kenan's memorial (#5720679), and the problem is the birthdate.
As I cannot find ANY Owen Kenan on Familysearch.org (free) that matches the dates, I cannot judge which is wrong: born 1929? or died 1897 ??
Please revise the dates and/or check the original source or a gravestone. Name correct?
|Debbie Z*~||Catherine Barnett # 6120959|
I have submitted an edit to you to have Catherine unlinked from Stephen J Barnett, # 75600978. Not sure how the link came about... perhaps from another edit submitted to you, but someone incorrectly identified her as his wife. She is buried in Contra Costa Co CA and he is buried in Los Angeles Co CA.
Please see the information I've posted in his bio and the marriage certificate posted there which clearly shows his wife to be Catherine Eleanor Rivers. She remarried after his death but continued to live at the residence she shared with Stephen right up to the time of her own death.
I would really love to connect Catherine Barnett in Contra Costa to the correct family but so far have been unsuccessful. I suspected she might be related to the George Calvin Barnett family who was in that county but haven't found a connection so far. His memorial is # 5797774. I've researched his line and submitted edits to connect him & his family back to their origins which also connect to my family in GA.
I hope you will accept my edit to have Catherine removed. If she is your family, please let me know.
Thank you for updating his memorial and Happy New Year!

Hey cuz, I was just looking at some things on Ancestry and found Patrick S. McD's death cert so thought I would send the whole dates for addition to Find A Grave. I'm sure you have the DC already, but here is the number in case you want it: #26599. Take care

I don't see links to her parents on Millie's page. Could you share their names and locations with me? & I'll add the links to Millie's page

Thank you so much for sponsoring "Father Frank's" memorial.
As a young altar boy, I had the privilege of serving Mass for him on many occasions. He always fussed over his young (Third) cousin and made me feel very special. He left us way too soon.
Do you have any good photos of him to post? My photos of him are of very poor quality.
Thanks again, Dave McNelis
Sorry to have bothered you. I've decided I should take this question directly to the folks at find-a-grave.
Thanks for your time, and thanks for your work on find-a-grave!

I hope you are doing well.
I noticed that you have several memorials with "Unknown" in the surname field. I was wondering if that was your choice, or if another find-a-grave member sent you edits to change blank surname fields to "Unknown."
