Please understand that I have no control over the names, words and dates engraved on stones, written on death certificates or provided in obituaries. I didn't write them. I'm only providing those previously written words to you.

I have been an active contributor on this site for over 15 years, so yes it stands to reason that I have a fair number of memorials that I have entered, added to and lovingly care take even though they may not be a branch of my own family. It's quite possible that if I had not entered the memorial to begin with, you may not have been able to find them.

Individuals using this site need to realize that we are all volunteers and do not need to deal with abusive behavior or rudeness just because we won't make a transfer to someone who has registered two days or two months ago and want every memorial on the site with the surname of Jones. Or a transfer of a memorial of someone who they think just might be a fifth cousin, four times removed of their third ex-husband.

If you are new to this site, PLEASE read the "Frequently Asked Questions" located "HERE". If you take just a moment to familiarize yourself with these guidelines, it will definitely help yours and everyone else's state of mind, blood pressure and headaches. Just a hint, most people will not respond to your liking when bullying tactics are used.

If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.

Please be kind. We all make mistakes from time to time. If I have made a mistake or created a duplicate memorial later than one you have created, please use the "Edit" tab and send me the correction or let me know of the duplication and it will be taken care of quickly.

I will make transfers using the "Guidelines" if they are not a relative of mine. I will transfer your children, siblings, parents, grandparents or great-grandparents. All other requested transfers will be considered if you use the "Edit" feature and state your relationship or intended need for the memorial.

Lastly and most importantly, there are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

Warm regards,

Beta County Mapper

Well, I wrote you a long email message, but (of course) it went awry, since I did not have your email address. I have changed the cemetery name for Alice # 63803347. Hope this makes more sense. I was surprised to note that her death certifcate merely said burial was in "San Antonio, TX" which could, of course, be one of MANY cemeteries there. I think this one is correct.
Thanks, Sandy

Josephine Saur
Joan...I received an email via Find A Grave to change a cemetery name on one of my ancestors in San Antonio. I've made the correction to Annie Yemans Humphrey.

I would like to manage the memorial of her daugther Josephine Humphrey Saur #39100645. It's been ages since I requested a transfer and cannot locate the transfer request on your profile. I apologize for doing this the long way.

I am managing her parents and all her siblings that I have found.

My ID# 46553441. Thank you for the note on the correction....and I would greatly appreciate the transfer of Josephine if possible.

George Cox
Just wondering if the woman's picture should be on Alma Cox and not George.

Denecamp relation
I am Erna Denecamp Ramchissel's great-granddaughter. Do you have any other information about her father Adolph? Or do you know of how I can find information about him?

RE: Christiana
Well, I see that the edit to which I referred for John Adam Schuessler has already been accepted so I guess contributor Lin was only referring to SACs not being actively addressed.

RE: Christiana
The name Adam is correct as the full name is John Adam Schuessler. The person who created the memorial for John S. Schuessler got the middle initial wrong but the dates of birth and death match precisely and the Schuessler family states that John Adam was buried in Crosby Cemetery. I have already submitted an edit to correct the middle part of the name. If you would rather wait for the correcting edit to be accepted, I would certainly understand, but the person who "manages" the memorial has over 200,000 and states that he/she gets too many edits to actively accept edits.
