Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 32-year-old female from northern Louisiana, married to a wonderful man, with whom I have been with for seventeen years, and married for twelve years. We have a beautiful daughter named Rachel Joy, born in February '05, and a beautiful son named Sephiroth Richard-Vincent, born in September '07, and a beautiful daughter named Lilith Illyana Josephine, born in June '11. I have a passion for memorializing my loved ones and keeping their memories alive in any way possible. I love doing genealogy in my spare time, as well as cemetery photography.

I also have several non-relatives and non-friends listed. If you have any extra information or photos that you would like to add (or correct), please feel free to email me.

Josephine McClendon
Hey Heather. I do a lot of photography in Greenwood Cemetery, Ruston, LA. You have a memorial there for Mrs McClendon. I had a family member contact me asking for directions to her marker. You ask that anyone contact you with info on the family. If you would like his email, let message me your email address. May benefit you both!

JEANETTE SMITH
Michael Kolb and Weston Wilson
I am Weston's Aunt. I practically raised him.Are you kin to him too? The info I have is that the boat did not capsize, they fell out of the boat because there was 4 or 5 of them in it. I don't know about how Michael drowned, but I know that Weston got hit in the head trying to climb back in. This could have been avoided if only the owner had chained his boat.

RE: re: James D. Burson
Thank you, Heather. I'm trying to do as much linking for this cemetery as I possibly can. Most of the folks buried there are related to me. I appreciate your cooperation.

J. W. Fenton, 1825-1857
I believe this man is possibly James W. Fenton who arrived in New Orleans, LA. on 9 Dec. 1848 aboard the "Aeolus" and who, in 1850, was a blacksmith, living in Union Parish, LA.

There was another Fenton man (George) born about 1827 in Scotland who also came to northern Louisiana and settled in Union Parish, LA. I have not connected J. W. and George, but plan to keep researching as I believe there is a good possibility that they are related, possibly brothers.

Also, I have not connected these two men to my Fenton ancestors who left Dundee, Scotland in 1842, entered the US by way of New Orleans and then traveled up the Mississippi to Jefferson County, Indiana.

When I make any further connection (if any) I will let you know.

re: Lonia Ophelia Boggs Bearden
Heather
Regading my Aunt Lonia O. Boggs Bearden.
My oldest sister told me tonight that she remembers someone called Dub. Any information as to whom this is? My sister is in her mid sixties in age and went to Aunt Lonia and Uncle Andrew Bearden home in Farmersville with my father for visits. She remembers our cousins ( Lonia & Andrew's children) Martha and Margaret but does not remember if they had a son. Maybe E.L.?
appreciate any information. I have a picture of Lonia's mother
Mattie L. Redden Boggs if you wish to have a copy. She is holding a baby in the picture ( the baby is my oldest sister).
