Hi, a friend and I have been taking pictures of and posting them of the Mount Zion Cemetery in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. My question for you is that you have listed the above name as being buried in this cemetery. If he is buried there, there hasn't been a family or military tombstone erected there that I could find. If you have any information that would help me to locate it, I would greatly appreciate it. I only have 24 peoples graves that I cannot find markers on. Some are broken, and some are just large rocks, so I cannot identify them.

Bugg related to Buggs
Turns out, my father's side, Bugg, ends with my great grandfather Bugg being a Hobbs at birth. But, my grandmother Sherwood had an ancestor Sherwood that married a Samuel Bugg. Finally, I still don't know if one of my Bugg decendents names changed to Buggs along the way. I continue to look for that. If you have any questions, you can still ask me any time.

S. A. Bugg
Hi Mary,
Do you have any information on the S. A. Bugg listed as a THOMPSON on the 1970 Claiborne Parish LA census. She was in the family of her grandfather S. J. Thompson. She was a sister of Edmund BUGG.

Claiborne Parish, Louisiana
My great uncle and aunt died in Haynesville, Claiborne Parish, LA - 1970 for him - don't know her date of death... he is Franklin Gordon KEA.

My question is - do you know how complete the cemetery is documented there?? Also - if you live near there - what other cemeteries could I search for them??

thanks, Kathy Stroope Veasey (#47009271)
