If you sponsor them, I going to transfer them.
You know if you want anyone that I have added transferred to you, just shoot me a list. I have very little family buried in Mississippi County.

RE: My mom is Patricia (Guthrie) Day
Same to you Mark. I really appreciate your contributions on here as well. If you ever come across one of my memorials that requires an improvement or just want me to transfer a grave, I will gladly do so.

The majority of my grave memorials on here are in Mississippi & New Madrid county. I have photographed both Dogwood & East Prairie Memorial Park cemeteries at least a dozen times in the past 5 years. I make the trip south when I can.

My mom & dad both have tons of family in East Prairie & Matthews area. I recognize the "Hurt" name just from my own research. If you ever need an obituary for one of your ancestors here I can probably find it. Don't hesitate to ask.

Regrettably, no, I live in Virginia (as does my brother Dr. David Hurt, retired) and haven't been to Missouri since I was very, very young. I have dozens of relatives buried there, most of them in the Cooper County area. If you are interested in my line, you can look us up on WikiTree (Hurt-602). Thank you for all your help, Steve

My mom is Patricia (Guthrie) Day
Hey Mark,

Small world. Apparently you and my mother, Patricia (Guthrie) Day both graduated from East Prairie High in 1974 and are Facebook friends. She asked me yesterday "Is Pappy Van Winkle bourbon really good?" and then mentioned your name from a FB post she saw. She doesn't drink at all and knows nothing about booze. I laughed and told her that it's one of the most expensive & premium bourbons there is.

I also told her that your name sounds familiar from my research in East Prairie area. Small world for sure. Family came from East Prairie and now we're both in STL area.

Thank you, Mark, that's my Clayton.I have this as he and descendants are easily tracked after his arrival in Missouri ~ 1815. I'm at a loss, however, in trying to locate his parents, family, etc prior to 1800 in Virginia. I suspect someone in Missouri has the family bible or has done some research to lead me to this information, but haven't found the key, yet.

Thanks again,
