Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Moved to West Union, Iowa as an infant where I spent the first 25 years of life. Relocated to San Bernardino, California in 1964 and was employed at the Aerospace Corporation. In 1967 I accepted a position at Autonetics in Anaheim, a Division of North American Aviation. The company later became North American Rockwell, then Rockwell, and finally in 1996 Boeing acquired the missile and defense portion of Rockwell. Retired from Boeing as a Quality Assurance Senior Program Analyst after 32-1/2 years with Rockwell. |
My husband and I now reside in beautiful Temecula, California. We enjoy family research, walking cemeteries, travel, gardening, skiing, and investigating the wonderful scenery of the area. We have a blended family of 5 children, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 cat-children.
I enjoy posting memorials on Find A Grave for a couple of reasons: to honor and remember my deceased relatives, and to help others reestablish family connections.
- All information posted is for my or my husband's relatives and is derived from our research.
- All information posted is within public domain which means that the information is not private and is available to anyone.
- All gravestone photos were taken by me or my husband. I don't mind sharing but please ask permission.
- I will be happy to make changes if credible evidence/documentation is supplied.

I found them in the 1870 census saved under the name of Hanwoods. Kentucky, Hickman, McAllister.
6 Children Josephine 13, Nancy 11, Fannie 9, Thomas 7, Plk J 5 and Ella 2. I just thought you might be interested in this since Fannie was your Grandmother. Nanny was my husbands great grandmother.

Your welcome! As you can see, it definitively ties my George and Keziah together. It mentions George Spencer, Alvin Wescott, and Janesville where they lived. Relatives are continuing to work on acquiring more evidence to find the right family group they both fit in.

I posted the poem on George Bates's memorial biography. (#40817703)
|Carol Wilson||Harold and Rete Buhmann|
Hello Kay Fordham. Thank you so much for sharing memories of Rete Buhmann. I actually took over the memorial after another person created it as I have been trying to connect as many relatives as possible. Harold was my 2nd cousin 1x removed via his mother Rosie Ehlers Buhmann. Do you happen to know where Rosie and her husband Henry Buhmann were buried? I also created memorials for them; however, lacking a burial site.
Thanks again. Find A Grave is a wonderful platform for us "genealogically obsessed" people!
|Ann||Georgia (spencer) Coleman|
I wanted to let you know that I have posted a photo to Georgia's memorial. Her daughter, Noma and her husband, Stewart McClure, are interred next to her.
Have a great day.

Glad I was able to help. I looked once before, but now that the weather is nicer it was much easier to find.

No problem. I took photos of all the Ammerman's, unfortunately many of the stones are damaged

your welcome Kay. I picked a good day to go back to wood lawn and re-photograph the entire section, had to stop in the middle, wind picked up and it was getting close to gate closing. The following week we got 7 inches of snow dumped on us, so the rest will have to wait until spring or a flame thrower because we got another 6-7 inches on Monday. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
|Teresa Reilly||William Powell Ferree|
I noticed that you posted a memorial on the page for William Powell Ferree. Are you or your husband related to the Ferree Family? The reason I ask is that I am an advisor to a Boy Scout working on his Eagle Project at the Historic Ferree Cemetery in Coraopolis PA. This is the cemetery that William Powell Ferree's parents are buried in. We are searching for additional information about the Ferree's buried there. In particular a Nancy Ferree whose stone is unreadable except for the name. Thank you.
|Sharon Christensen||RE: John Hanno Gravestone|
