Thank you for your efforts in Find A Grave, I am enjoying the photos. Would you mind adding to Sammie's siblings my grandfather John Jackson Colvett 1890-Jan 1979.
|Louise Jenkins||Andrew Miller|
I deleted him years ago as we discussed, was adding this last child and could not find other children there...to get to the point, when I found them, Andrew was in Head Springs...don't know how that happened, am sorry, will delete again tomorrow when I have time to add other wife and children to yours...
I know you hate to see my name on anything.

I don't usually ask for a transfer- but this is my only sister- buried at Willow Mount- and we just interred my father next to her. Would you consider transferring her listing to me? Rhonda Bartlett Robinett

Would you please provide a better cite for your reference to "In the book, Caroline county Virginia....". Please provide complete name/title, author(s) and page referenced.
Since Caroline County wasn't created until 1727, Francis -- if he lived in the area -- actually came from one of the 3 other counties which eventually gave up land to make up Caroline.
Other people's references, however, indicate he may have lived in any number of other Virgina counties, though many of these have issues of improper association. For example, James City is not in Caroline Cty. It is a County in its own right, created in 1617. Equally, Williamsburg happens to be an Independent City and not associated with any county.
Thank you for this valuable clarification.
|Alana Morgan||Memorial# 102047217 Mary Goodlett Motlow|
The memorial that you have for Mary Goodlett Motlow is not correct.
She did not die in 1825.
She is not buried in this cemetery.
There is a correct memorial for Mary, with a photo of her and Zadock's stone. That memorial can be found at: Memorial# 168773736.
Although your memorial is older, the other one is the first correct one, and per Find A Grave rules, this one should be deleted.

Call me sometime. I have a question about Mr.Milton Stutts. I believe that he had two families and the other spouse may be the Louise that is buried in Florence Cemetery.

|Robert Tyree, Sr||Will NOT TRANSFER|
I had to go to Find-A-Grave customer service to transfer my Father, 2 Grandparents and 2 G Grandparents as Mr. Staggs states that he WILL NOT transfer to the family.
Please refer to the FAQ section to see that it is customary for DIRECT family members within 4 generations be allowed to manage the memorial.
Mr. Staggs: Thank you for your service of remembrance of our ancestors. But I do not understand your refusal to transfer DIRECT family members.
|Andy||Sgt William Flavius Cost|
I am Andy Bryant (again). I have just found "the rest of the story" about Sgt. William F. Cost's [Find A Grave Memorial# 53058656] AND Malinda Elizabeth Potterfield's [Find A Grave Memorial# 53060721]DAUGHTER!!
I am so happy.... I've been searching for her for 10+ years.
Her name was originally listed at her birth in 1872 as: "Mary E Mast" I could not find ANY records of her after her father, William died in 1881.
FINALLY....... Her name was is recorded as
"Mammie E.(Ella) Cost (1872-1945)" [Find A Grave Memorial# 105956777]
She married a man named;
"John Scott Falls, Sr. (1858-1927)" [Find A Grave Memorial# 55579859]
I was wondering if you would please consider connecting your memorial sites of her father, Sgt. William Flavius Cost AND her mother, Malinda Elizabeth Potterfield with hers?
It would be wonderful to finally, after all of these many years, having their ONLY child together again!
