Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am memorializing because each person is special, and to show in particular, if possible, how God has marked their lives. Sometimes it isn't possible to research - but God knows their heart. After all, we came from God and shall stand before Him with the outcomes of such precious gifts, such interesting lives. Furthermore, I've a huge family and I want to get them all memorialized with interesting bios and with facts correct because there's more to everybody than just burial grounds.

I am the Curator and Archivist at the Elkridge Heritage Society in Maryland. You are welcome to read my humorous blogs of Maryland history and genealogy as well as see my cartoons of historical humor at and, you can find me seeking the truth of matters on Twitter too > @momentaryhiccup

Response to your email regarding memorial 19406857
What records have you checked? Did you recheck the 1850 census for Benjamin & Regina Horn?

The 1850 census for the Horn household lists an eleven year old girl by the name of Eliz. Have you seen this census? Why has she not been added as one of Benjamin's children in his memorial page bio?

Also, if Elizabeth (Horn) Taylor is not the sister of Mary (Horn) Rice can you explain to me why they are buried in the same lot in Loudon Park Cemetery? Have you been to Loudon to see for yourself? Because I have.

Think hard. You and I have gone through this issue once before. You claimed that because you found an obituary for an Emma Horn then Elizabeth (Horn) Taylor could not be a daughter of Benj and Regina Horn. I told you about the 1850 census and your response was, "but Emma is not a nickname for Elizabeth" to which I responded, "that's right. there was no Emma in the household, just Elizabeth."

You seem to be of the impression that the obit you found for Emma Horn must be the child of Benj. and Regina. Why do you believe you are correct? Does the obit mention her parents? If so then you have proof that you could share with me. But I will ask again, why is Elizabeth (Horn) Taylor buried in the same lot as Mary (Horn) Rice if they are not family?

I am confident that I have Elizabeth Taylor linked to the correct parents. Please tell me why it is incorrect other than that you are the keeper of the family records.

Reppert Memorial
Please remove your message from Memorial # 102208808 for J Christian Reppert. This is the original memorial. The other one for this individual was added later, and is the duplicate.

I See Dead People
RE: Louis Frederick Reppert
I have lived in Lansdowne all my life. I do not know them personally, only the name from Lansdowne history. I figured if you were just up the road in Elkridge you might be related.

Hi. I transferred the Repperts to you. Family should take care of family. Do I have anyone else in your family? Just let me know

RE: memorial 112447330

No reason; just a mistake. Hoffman is the more common spelling in my experience and I didn't notice that the gravestones had a different spelling. If you don't mind, can you submit a correction for each memorial that has the error?

Also, if you are related, please let me know if you would like me to transfer ownership.
