Bio Photo Dear Friends,

I happened upon the Find A Grave website when I was searching for a way to honor my brother, and to share the memory of him.

Although my brother, Curtis Matthew Duncan, is no longer with us in physical form, I know the memory of him will live on and on for all of those who loved and knew him. This website, Find A Grave, is one very special way to carry on his memory.

I urge all friends and family to leave a special note, so that we may look back on this virtual memorial from time to time, and feel the love of those Curtis touched during his time on this earthly planet.

May all who have lost someone special find some comfort in being able to virtually visit your departed loved ones, and may you find the strength to go out in the world and make each day count by spreading selfless gifts of kindness and love.

God Bless You,

My Friend Curtis.
Hello Kristy,

I just wanted to tell you what a great friend Curtis was to me. We met at Saugus High accidentally, he took my backpack and I took his. The next day we met at the same location where this mishap took place and we became friends. What I remember most about Curtis was how he was a genuine friend. I remember when I had problems growing up he was always there for me. I wish I would have kept in touch with him after high school. I was in the production Fiddler on the Roof with him at Saugus. He was so talented.

He definitely left a positive impression on me.

Take care,

To my friend Kristy
I spent a better part of this evening reading about your brother and all the people who knew and obviously loved him, even those who did not know him , he touched something deep within them as it did me. What a beautiful way to honor your brother. I always felt you a remarkable person! In some way, I can relate to his feelings of despair, Thank god for my two beautiful children, they are my light. I thank you for your friendship!
Love, Laura

Through your words and pictures, Curtis seemed like an amazingly complex but yet very pure person with such a gentle heart. The black & white photos are particularly amazing. The site you left for your brother is a true gesture of your love for him and even appreciated for those that never got to know him. You are a good sister.
I have been outcasted from my mother in law for leaving a memorial for my father in law and was ordered to remove it from this site...I wish more people like you understood.

Duncan (as I knew him)
I have very fond memories of him he was charming, funny and flirtatious. We hit it off straight away on his tour. It was in 1998 and we talked a lot about bands from England he told me he liked The stone roses and other English bands from around my home town. We swapped home addresses and phone numbers.I later found his e-mail address from an online source, but by that time he told me he has settled down and was a different person.
I still have some photos - which I might upload....he was very entertaining and knowledgeable about Hollywood. I was so shocked to find he had passed away let alone taken his own life. It must of been a few months after I mailed him as I only got my computer in 1999.
Really really sorry for your lose Kristy - Mel xx
