I have no known relationship to Edsel or his DeLong kin, therefore I am transferring maintenance of his memorial to you.

RE: Pryor H. Meeks
Pryor H. Meeks daughter, Nannie Kate, married Roy Mason Bryant. She had two children, Roy Eugene Bryant (#13805481) and Evangeline Faith Bryant Smith (#36922930).

Roy Bryant had one child, Michael. Van had three children. By the way of bad choices in her life, Van gave her three children to Nannie Kate to raise. These three children are listed in Vans memorial. You may be able to contact one or more of them to find out more information on the Meeks family. They were raised closer to all the aunts and uncles on the Meeks side.

I married Michael and have almost no information on the Meeks family. I met some of them briefly. The Meeks side and the Bryant side were not close. Vans children were closer to the Meeks than my husband. Sadly, the Bryants with information have now died.

The pictures I have of Mr. Meeks are the only ones I have. I never met him. According to my husband, he was a crusty old cager with a bad attitude. He had one leg that was shorter than the other and may have been in pain.

Good luck with your search.

RE: Alfred Harper
You are welcome. That was a hard one to find. It took some climbing for it was on the side of a mountain. Lol

RE: Aileen Margaret Chambers Rhodes
Sadly, no relation whatsover. I am from a totally different strain of Rhodes lineage out of Buckinghamshire back to the 1500s with no Irish lines -- but I was born and raised in BC and was doing some findagrave work and decided to "fill in the blanks" on the Rhodes name in BC as a general good deed to see if it might help someone. Details are a combination of information from the BC cemeteries index and death registration info publicly available from and the BC archives online

Thank you so much for the photo! Is there a marker there for George? Where is this located? Mother's memory is fading and any info would be great! TY again!

George Thomas Long
None of the people you mentioned are in my tree, but I did a search. I found a George Long living with a Martin K Smith (b. 1813) and family in the 1880 census in Clay County. There were no daughters that could be George's mother. I found the same Martin Smith in the 1870 census in Overton county. He had a daughter named Malinda F age 16 that could be George's mother. This is only a guess. I hope this might help. Ron
