My Grandmother told me stories about our ancestors on both sides of the family. I am into genealogy because she knew all of that info and passed it on. I learned about Find A Grave though a very distant "cousin" in Hawaii and it has added so much detail to those stories.|

|Dıehard||Old vs. new|
Within the past hour, I received a SAC (Edit Tab > 6th option) from you on a memorial I manage. You expressed your preference for the "old" format over the "new" so I presume you were looking at the Beta site (new.findagrave.com). Your message ended with "Sorry, you haven't done yourself any favors." I'm a Find A Graver user, just like you, so I have no control over the format although I do understand the "coding" was out-dated. For your message to get to the "right people", click the link above to go to the new site and look in the lower right corner of the page where you'll see an orange-ish colored semi-circle with the words "Beta Send Feedback". Click in that semi-circle and a dialogue box will open up for you to send your message to Find A Grave.

You created a site for Lt John Webb at Dayton National Memorial. There is no listing for a John Webb in the National Grave site Locator, and with a date of death of 1811 I doubt that Dayton National even goes back that far since it was started after the Civil War.
I notice the link for his wife has her buried at Lost Creek Cemetery. Maybe he is there.

I do know this Himes family lived in Washington Co, MD, and Keedysville would be very near Sharpsburg/Antietam. Thanks for the information. It's fascinating to try to connect all the dots. Jane

Hello Carlene, I'd love to know the source of notes that you left at Elizabeth Himes Hedder Russell's Find A Grave site. Your information agrees with mine, but I'd love to know if you are related or have family history that I don't. I'm descended from Elizabeth's sister Nancy Himes Summers. Thanks in advance from Jane
Please email me at email@example.com. I believe we have chatted in the past, but I'm not positive. I have lost contact with "Eloop"....I am descended from the Middlekauff/Landis lines...
|DARCY SCHEERHOORN||Keedy / Geeting family|
Hi Carlene - I am interested in the information you have on the Keedy / Geeting family. My grandfather was George Herschel Keedy and we are from the George Washington Keedy lineage. I am wondering if this Keedy Cemetery is the one found out in the country, surrounded by farmland, not far from Eakles Mill? Thank you - Darcy Scheerhoorn

Ref: Jessie M. Snyder - Find A Grave Memorial# 127343693 - looking for verification her middle name is "Margaret." I've seen both "Marjorie" and "Marietta" - and now "Margaret" - and would like to include her given middle name. tom
