|I'm addicted to genealogy and have been researching my family history for many years now. I leave a little yellow, St. John's Wort, flower on each of my family member's memorial pages. Blue Burst flower on my husband's family member's pages.|
I've had a lot of help throughout the years while on my journey – from close relatives; from those more distantly related who are also researching the same lines; from those not related at all who offer their time to do lookups in various counties and states; from those who donate their time to transcribe records to be posted online, as well as photos; from staff working at different libraries and other locations where records are maintained. I want you all to know that I sincerely appreciate everything that all of you do and have done not only to help me but for so many others sharing this passion both now and in the years to come. It's been an amazing journey and one that is far from over.
This is a team project as well as a labor of love. I'm more than happy to add information or correct any information to any of the memorial pages that I've created or maintain. If you'd like a transfer please use the edit button on that memorial page and then the suggest a correction link to do so… it doesn't necessarily matter if it's for someone from my family tree I am not immortal and will not be around forever .. I want the information posted to be available for anyone choosing to look for it. It's important to remember and cherish those that you descend from.
Please feel free to copy any photos that I personally have posted. Before there was a grave there was a living person who consisted of more than a few dates and places. I'd love to see some type of bio and a photo of that person on each of my memorial pages as well as the cemetery photos.
Save a life or lives, adopt a family member through rescue groups and shelters!

|Leo J. Offerman||Duplicate photos|
Hello, I stumbled across your message about someone adding duplicate photos on memorials that you have already added photos. The same thing is happening to me near Cascade, someone is adding multiple photos to existing memorials with perfect photos. It is very annoying to say the least. Others have mentioned the practice to me as well. Is there an edit tab to request removal? Thanks
|Brylee Landers||RE: Butler County Cemeteries|
Feel free to do so. I took photos of the Allison cemetery over a year ago. I also have family in the area.
|Hooked On Family||Darrell Kingery|
I added a clearer photo showing his military post and one showing his military plaque. Someone else also added one, but it is still difficult to see the dates. Let me know if you do not want it here...the memorial is getting crowded!

Such a nice summer until this week that I had to take some pix. Running out of Butler County cems as one guy takes a lot of them!
|Hooked On Family||William C. McNeilus|
I found an obituary for Wm. C. McNeilus buried at Oak Hill Cem. at Bristow, Butler, Iowa. There was no memorial for him, so I created one and linked him to his wife, Dorothy, and parents, Archie and Violet.

You have memorials for other McNeilus family members buried there as well as some other people buried there.
I went over and photographed the entire cemetery, and have begun posting photos. I did put some on where you already had a photo, just because it was a gorgeous day, and I got a good shot. But I don't want to override your efforts at all. Just check, and I will delete my pix if you prefer. No problem.

Hi Deb Kent my name is Cory and Im wanting to know if Robert Carl Kent ever lived in Orland Fl. because im trying to find out if this Robert Kent is my grandfather, he was the only match I found on ancestry.com that links his birth to Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin
|Jennifer Schlieger||Thank you|
I have never known much about my father's side of the family. My grandparents (Arlie and Nelva Oldfield White) moved to Arkansas from Janesville when I was very young and my father (William John Oldfield) left not too much longer after them, about four or five years. Not having much contact with him after he left, I have learned more about the Oldfield family history after his death when I received death, christening, and birth certificates, wills, and even my Grandmother's (Nelva Oldfield White) baby book. This information really triggered me wanting to know more. It has been difficult to obtain information, not really knowing family on that side. Thank you for what information you have shared. I will try to find a photo of my father to share.
