Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching my genealogy since I was about 10 years old! I started with oral histories and stories told to me by my grandparents. When I was 12, I graduated to my first trip to the court house to research wills and marriage bonds. I have never looked back from there. In addition to researching my family history, I have also researched many geanologies for others in the Shelby County, Indiana area.

We enjoy cemeteries, unusual tombstones and eloquent epitaphs. We love the serenity and stories told of the people who came before us.

If anyone would like us to take a photo for them in Shelby County, Indiana area we will do our best to get it for you.

Please ignore my last message. I got my wires crossed. I actually meant to ask you where you got the PICTURE :) I am very interested in the picture and any other info you might have on this family. Thank you!

Peter Burton gravestone

Peter Tarter Burton and Nancy Isaac Burton were my great-great-grandparents. The headstone photo you provided for Peter T. Burton (from Bearwallow Cemetery) is remarkable in that the headstone looks quite modern. Do you have any information on that?

Thanks for any information that you can provide.

Lodema Wood
Thanks so much for the photo of Lodema Wood's headstone. I really appreciate your time and efforts. Do you by chance recall if the headstone also listed her husband James Wood?

Thank you again,
