Bio

Retired federal employee (Army civilian, 40 years). Retired as Chief of Public Affairs, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, June 2010. Responsible for media relations, community relations and the post newspaper. Career path was print journalism and military public relations. Lived in Lawton, Oklahoma for all those years, but now residing in the Tulsa area where we moved after retirement to be close to grandkids. Spent 30-plus years as a deacon and adult Bible teacher at First Baptist Church Lawton and now Arrow Heights Baptist in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Developed an interest in Find A Grave when I developed a memorial for my Dad, Clifton Wright Long, who passed away in 2007.
I am happy to transfer memorials when requested by the deceased's family members.
