Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy genealogy, local history, and preserving the memory of those who fought for our Independence, those that defended our South, and all those who fought to keep America free. I will help anyone that I am able. Searching, finding, and documenting the forgotten/lost graveyards is a priority for me! Find-a-grave has been a valuable tool in locating graves that were previously unfound. I have enjoyed working on memorials with everyone that I have had the priviledge of.

RE: Luticia Virginia Cox Carter
Hello Hal, so nice to hear from you. Your great-great grandfather would be my great-great uncle. Im am the 10th of 11 children. All are gone now except one sister who is 86. Esda Ethell Carter was Lutitia Virginia's daughter. She married Charlie Stone and daddy lived to be 97 and mama 88.
I has a sister Doris, Edith, Moedon, a brother Cephas, then Louington( died at 9 years) Madeliene,
Lutiticia V., Lethules, another Brother Thadley, Then Me, Aquila and a brother after that, Bayward. Lethules and I are the only ones living. 3 died of COPD. If you know any thing about our sides of the family, any stories or pictures, please send me the info to or Aquila Shaw .4045 N. Bluewater Dr. Hernando, Fl. 34442. I have a lot of research on both sides and need to know if any fought in the Revolution, as I belong to the Daughthers of the American revolution. 352-341-5124
Would love to hear from you. Sincerly Aquila

RE: Ann Coachman
Ahhh - OK. I should have known that. I have a photo copy of the original manuscript and completely forgot that John Joseph Simons listed children other than just the ones in the will. Ann must have died before her father. That's the only explanation I can think of. Thanks for the clarification!
