I would like to pick up your photo request but Sparkman Hillcrest (SH) does not like to provide burial locations to volunteers, citing privacy issues. Your cooperation is needed in order for requests to be filled. The volunteers will need you to call SH and request the location. Their phone number is 214-363-5401. Once you have the location, please add it to your request. Thanks.
I saw your photo requests for Philip Harper
and Anna Harper in the Moses Harper Cemetery at Harper's Gap across from the old 4-U Restaurant. Sorry, but there are no stones for either of those people. This cemetery was read in 1924 by Elsie Byrd Boggs, and there were no stones for them then. If you are a family member, you can check out our website at www.jacobcharper.org

|Arabelle||Mildred Platt Gambrell|
In reference to your photo request at Graniteville Cemetery for Mildred (Platt) Gambrell, #112341076, I have gone back several times over the past couple of years to try and locate her, as I had added her to my list of updates to complete for this cemetery when she passed in 2014. (I completed a full photographic survey of this entire cemetery over the course of several months in 2013 and 2014, so I go back periodically to find and photograph new graves to try to keep this as updated as possible.) I just went there this past week and specifically searched for Mildred beside her husband and also in her parents' plot. However, there is no marker for her in either plot. Do you know if she was interred beside her husband? If so, I can take a picture of the plot to confirm that no marker for her exists to-date. I will also keep checking back to see if a marker is placed there for her in the future and take a picture at that time. This cemetery is near and dear to my heart, so I will do whatever I can to fulfill your request. Thanks and have a great weekend!

|Gr@veDigger||RE: George Smalls|
Tombstone has George Smals not Smalls.
If someone cleans up this stone I'll get a better photo later.
