Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am married I have three children and one grandchild:I am the baby girl of eight children born to Ellis and Maxine Slavens Woods. While growing up family history was never spoken about. I never had the privilege of knowing my grandparents so it made me have a desire to know where I came from. My research started my senior year of high school when a secretary in the school gave me four family group sheet telling me to document as much history from family members as possible. I still have those pages after all these years. One of my main goals at the time was to find family who might have a picture of my grandfather James Jarrett Woods. I still have not found a picture but the many lines that I have connected and the family and distant cousins I have meet along the way has been priceless. I would like to thank those who have been so gracious to help me along my journey. ----------------
My ancestors on my fathers Line is Woods, Davis, Bolinger, Hayes, Newberry, Terry, Newport My ancestors on my mothers line are Slavens, Ussery, Morrison, Taylor, Moore, Edwards, Holts, Campbell, Young, Ford, White, From my 1st marriage into Mashburn family and my oldest daughters lineage is Mashburn, Jay, Nutt, Landers and Mason , Robbirds- Robirds, Roberts , Ford, Friend, My sister marrried a Stockstill and Stockstill ties into my daughters heritage also. My oldest daughters heritage is just important to me as my other children. I may not be married into the family anymore but she is still a part of it, Sad that a family member of this line has forgotten. I will pass my daughters heritage to her some day. My 2nd husband's lineage is Montgomery, Chandler and Smith ================

Remember.........That which you share, multiplies and divides. That which you withhold, diminishes and dies. W. Clement Stone-----------

Do your best to share your time, your knowledge, your pictures, your entries. Hoarding names helps no one and they remain basically a naked name with hopefully some part of a date - nothing else ____________

There are many other names that I have researched and connected on FAG that are limbs off of my main line. All are family to me. -----

Romans 2:1-3 You, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment?===============

Life has it's ups and downs, sometimes happiness and sometimes sorrow, but we must not ever forget the people who have gone before us. Their trails were more difficult and their losses many, but with out their efforts and struggles, you and I wouldn't be here.============

Your tombstone stands among the rest;neglected and aloneThe name and date are chiseled outon polished, marbled stoneIt reaches out to all who careIt is too late to mournYou did not know that I'd existYou died and I was born.Yet each of us are cells of youin flesh, in blood, in bone. Our blood contracts and beats a pulseentirely not our own.Dear Ancestor, the place you filledone hundred years agoSpreads out among the ones you leftwho would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knewThat someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you. Ida Bell Duvall
This is the marriage certificate for Ida Smith when she married Rozell. Its shows her mother as Phoebe, so this will put the Ida Smith raised by John Yates out of the picture as that was Mariah Catherine Smith as her mother.

You can find this record on Ancestery and Familysearch.

Name: Ida Smith
Marriage Date: 3 Jan 1893
Marriage Place: Protem, Taney, Missouri
Registration Place: Taney, Missouri, USA
Spouse: Marcus Rozell

You sent an obit for this person.

On your last message I notice this memorial page was a duplicate of another that was entered first.

I deleted the page I made.

Direct your obit etc to the other page's creator.

infant Slavens
thank you for bringing this to my attention. I created these memorials based on the moved graves list. they have two graves listed. If you will note the note section they have different grave numbers. I am not related so if they only had one infant I can add a note to the memorial but the lists, lists two graves.

Walter Columbus Wright, Memorial# 104062542
Sorry about the confusing messages for edit on his memorial. I didn't realize the duplicate memorial# 99233795 was in the wrong cemetery. I did send a message to LaDana to let her know, so she can delete it.

Thanks!! Debbie

William Thomas and Anna M. Bennett
Hi Peggy. As you surely know by now I have lost my older brother, Thomas Franklin Bennett, and I would like to add a memorial for him and his wife to mom and dads memorial.
I ask that you transfer the memorial for William T. Bennett, 82309671, and Anna M. Bennett, 82309748 so that I can make these changes.
If you prefer I'll transfer them back as soon as they are updated.
Thanks and God Bless.
