|I have been doing genealogy for 18 years. My family lines are Singer, Estes, Shockley, Connett, Matson, Mikels, Stewart. I have been going out an recording pictures of cemeteries that have been forgotten about or no records have been found.|
I am married to my soul mate who volunteered 24 an half years of his life (2 war veteran) to protect our country in the US Army. I am also in process of making a scrapbook of all our family veterans that have served this wonderful country of ours so we may be free.
Please ask permission for using my photo's or information on memorials in advance and if given permission please give credit from whom it came from.

Louis Duane Willing's birth date is marked unknown on his memorial page. He was the son of my husband's cousin. He was born on Oct. 12, 1931, lived just a few hours, then died on the same day.

Hahahahaha! Thanks for the transfers, cousin.
I did get your email about the reunion. How many people do you think will come?
Hope all is well on your end!
|Chris Chabot||Hello Cousin!|
I should say I also have a million questions on Grama Herman's side too!
I believe I was told once that there was a very large family on that side (the Brewer's?), and that my Dad had a large amount of cousins (over 20?), but that he didn't really keep in touch with any of them.
I have brought up the idea of a "Wisconsin Reunion" before, however, the only people I knew anymore were Punch and Mary Ismusland (sp?), who we used to go and see when we visited Grama on the lake.
The last time I saw Grama before she passed away was in Clearwater, Florida in the early 90's, where she spent her winters with another lady. I wish I would have had the presence of mind to ask her more about her parents and other family.

Oh my goodness! We are cousins? That is so amazing (have tears in my eyes right now!).
I live in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada.
My Dad (Dott's Son), is Timothy Herman, married Sara Monroe, came to Canada in 1967.
Now I just want to ask you a million questions about Harold's family!
Are you in Wisconsin?
|Chris Chabot||RE: Thank you|
Anything you happen to find would be great. I was mistaken that he died the day before my Dad was born. My Dad was born August 30, so it was actually about a week prior. I think my Grandma (Dot Herman), found out just before. We used to go and visit her and my "Grampa Virgil" at a lake near Wascott, Wisconsin every few years (if I remember right, it was called Person Lake. Dot went on to have two other children, my Aunt Tracy and Uncle Ted.
Again, I can't tell you how grateful I am for this information.
|Chris Chabot||Thank you|
I am unsure how this all works, however, I am so very grateful for the information that you found and posted.
What a selfless act to honour the memory of those who gave their lives for us.
God Bless You!
