Bio and Links
Bio Photo After 30 years teaching in the classrooms of Texas public schools I retired at the end of May, 2005. I am fascinated by genealogy, and I spend quite a lot of time doing family research. I am now Director of Nancy Nail Memorial Library in Mart, TX. My husband and I have been married 35 years. I have a wonderful son and two great step-sons, two daughters-in-law and 8 grandchildren: 1 grandson and 7 granddaughters.

After my Daddy passed away in 2009, I was elected to serve in his place on the board of directors of the Prairie Hill Cemetery Association, Limestone County, Texas where I am the secretary. My husband is the president of the Kirk Cemetery Association, Limestone County, Texas.

Shirley Davenport
I got the pics per your request for Shirley Davenport's "grave". This was a really challenging one to get. I tried and tried and tried to get an angle to get good pictures. The niches with glass covers are a bit of a pain because they reflect images and lights like a mirror. I was worried I was going to wear out my camera from taking too many pictures before I finally got some good shots. Well, ok, maybe I did not take THAT many pictures. It just seemed like it. :-] It would have helped if her niche would have been a little lower but oh well, it was not meant to be I guess. I had a hard time trying to decide which pictures to put onto her page. I did not want to put too many. Somebody at some point in time put a picture of her into the niche. I had a lot of "fun" trying to get a good shot of that picture!
In the one area shot of the whole wall she is in; her niche is just to the right of the orange flowers with brown centers in the middle of the wall. She is in the third glass covered niche up from the bottom and the second glass covered niche from the right.
This wall is all the way on the end of the very, very long corridor that runs through the huge mausoleum building in this cemetery, of the first floor. The building has 6 stories and has 100,000 people interred in it so far.

Middle Name
Thank you for the info on John P. Todd. He is in my tree through my G. grandmother. However, i have found three middle names for John. They are Pence, Prince, and Paxton. Do you have any docs to establish which may be correct.
Thank you.

Olivia W. H. Stuart
Hi, Patricia,
I believe Olivia was institutionalized near the end of her life? Do you happen to know why and where?
Do you have information about Olivia's brother, Winchester Hall,
or their other siblings or relatives?
Do you have information about the family of her husband, The Rev. David Stuart?

Sandra Dee
Hello Patricia! I noticed that you left a virtual 'flower' on my grandfather's memorial page ( James Getz, #48420307) with the note that you were his 4th cousin twice removed. I am his granddaughter so I guess that makes us 6th cousins twice removed or 4th cousins, 4 times removed....or some variation of that. :) I haven't yet had the time to research very far back into that particular family line so I just wondered if you could tell me who our common ancestor is. I always enjoying meeting family no matter how far removed and especially when they share my interest in family history so it is a pleasure to meet you, even if only here in this cyber world.
Regards, Sandra D.
