|Kaye Jackson||Elizabeth Jane Parsons Hanna|
Hi my name is Kaye Jackson, I see you added the information for Elizabeth Jane Parsons Hanna, are you related to her? She is my great great aunt, I am trying to find info on her father Samuel Parsons.
|rose jacobs||John J. Collins|
I have found a John J. collins married to Maggie Cockfield in the 1900 and 1910 and 1930 census.
The children were William or Willie, Mertie or Myrtle, Joseph and mandy or Amanda.
These children appear to be the children of John G. Collins and Maggie Cockfield.
But I am confused because you have not listed Amanda's parent as John G. and Maggie.
I know the census takers have gotten the names a bit mixed up at times. Could John J. be John G.?
Please help me to understand this part of the family.
I am researching Eaddy family of SC back to 1700's and this is very confusing.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

The date of 1876 can not be correct. His wife Hannah is still discussing him in letters to her son in late December 1879. He is very sick (sounds like dementia)but still alive.

Thanks so much for doing that. I have done the very same thing as we must soldier on to get those graves recorded. I salute you.

Jason, I noticed you post the tombstone pic for Council E. Collins. I am curious are there anymore stones at this cemetery & if so did you take pics of those as well? Thanks so much.
|Jo Ann Phillips Kelly||Holt Connection possibly found....|
Rufus Holt, if same one, was my second great Grandfather, Oliver Lee Holt's brother, sons of Wyatt. There were Gregg marriages iHolts/Greggs in this line. Holt line goes back to Thomas Holtz and Maria Catharina Holt, parents of Wyatt Holt, my 4th great Grandfather in this line.

Can you tell me who was the Father of Harrison Holt? I am a Holt descendant. Thanks!
|Laura Irion-Stoner||Angie & Vivian Mattis|
I am Angie & Vivian's grand-daughter. My mother was their daughter, Verna Mattis-Irion. I know very little about them, as my mother and they had an estranged relationship.I was curious if you had any information about their lives. Thank you for providing this memorial!
