Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching my ancestors with surnames Davidson, Hardin, Mabary, Watson, Farnsworth, McBurney, Prine, Hamilton, Adams, Hines, Belieu, Chamberlain, and of course, many many more. I live in Seattle, WA.

I am happy to do research in my area, and to take photos of graves that are near me or near where I will be travelling. It's the least I can do, since I'll be requesting the same of others. Feel free to contact me for whatever reason.

RE: William Lillard B. Chamberlain
I just noticed that your relatives are Davidson. That was my grandmother's name. Her name is Maude Olive Davidson Sommers and she is buried in Kansas. Interesting!

Yes most of the stones are wonderful in this cemetery. Not having them water I am sure has been a great help. I guess we like to see the green grass but it sure does not do the stones any good. If you need any more photos in this area I will be going again in May. Just let me know.

Charles Wesley Rish
Dave, thanks so much for the information you've added to my mother's Yakima area Rish relatives, Charles Wesley and his wife Etta and particularly for the care of his son, James Harvey Rish-Briskey.

You might want to make a tweak for cousin Wes at http://person.ancestry.com/tree/66650933/person/36166644121/facts, where he is listed as the brother of Oliver, Marion (my gr-gpa) and Charles Howard. Actually his father, Wm Harvey Rish, was their brother.

The following is superfluous--unless you have a Universal Master List of All Graves to consult.

Wm Harvey, another brother, Joseph Henry, and Wm's son George had a plumbing business in Yakima. Wm died ther on Oct 17, 1929. I don't know where he and his wife, Mary C (d. 1942), are buried, nor his brother Joseph, who died in Yakima in 1935. Also missing is their sister Sarah Carrie Rish Morsch, wife of Franklin, who died in Yakima in 1910.

Besides son Charles Wesley, Wm and Mary had a daughter, Hazel Elizabeth Rish Jackson, who died in Yakima in 1915 giving birth to their son Gerald George. Resting place unknown.

Wm and Mary's son George Wm, d. 1955 in Yakima, likewise.

And they had a troubled son, Harvey Bazil, who spent a good bit of time in Western State and died in Yakima in 1982, at almost 92, is missing.

Thanks again,

Tom

RE: William Hezekiah Robertson
You're quite welcome. Is William in your family tree? His (last) wife Hazel is buried next to him.

Samuel Ballou 1874-1935
I do volunteer research for the Jackson County Genealogy Society. We are documenting Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri. Samuel Ballou is on my list. The sexton records for Woodlawn has Samuel there in a single grave, but no location given. I checked with Mound Grove Cemetery and they confirmed that even though his death certificate and obituary state Mound Grove, he is in fact buried in Woodlawn. They have no record of him. They do have his wife and a son. Please change burial location. Thanks.
