Bio and Links
I was born and raised in Monroe County, Missouri. My father was a Shrader and my mother was a Scobee. I am researching the Shrader, Scobee, Dooley, Bryan, Every, and Long family lines. If anyone has any photographs or information to share, I am willing to share what information I have gathered.

I married a decendant of the Wilbanks/Lepard Family of Arkansas/Mississippi. I am also interested in any information on these family lines to include in the family tree.

Are you any relation to the Carter Family in Monroe County, Mo? William Carter is my Great-Great Grandfather.

Bryan family
I think I can help you with the Bryan family. I am directly related to James Lacy McGee who married Elizabeth and Susan Bryan, who were sisters. They are both buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. I have done research on the family. Please email me at LTLIOWA at aol dot com. I am from Hannibal, but have lived in WI for 35 years. I will be coming back to MO the end of April.

I have photographed this entire cemetery. All photos on Find A Grave. He does not have a marked grave. I found his burial listing on the MS confederate soldier's registry and added him to Find A Grave. Sorry I couldn't help you.

monroe county
My research goes deep into Monroe County. I kinda figure I must be related to half the county! My research is on the Lyon, Woodson, Witt, Norman, Painter, Scobee (Margaret), Goodnight, Young, McPherson, Dye, Leather.....

RE: Mary Jane Pierceall
Mary Jane Pierceall Scobee's grandfather, Clement Pierceall (1784-1863) and my 3gr-grandfather, Joseph Pierceall were brothers, making Jane (I think)a second cousin, three times removed. I could assemble a file on just her known descendants or provide you with a CD of the Pierceall generations preceding her if you like.

RE: Bryan Family
Sorry, I don't know any more about them. Most of the information comes from death certificates, the tombstones, and Monroe County Cemetery Listings.
Wish I could help more,
Patty
