If you would like a quick response to your photo request please provide a plot location. In Los Angeles, I take photos at Home of Peace, Calvary, Resurrection, Mt Zion, Los Angeles Oddfellows, Agudath Achim, Beth Israel, Evergreen, cemeteries and some others in the L.A. area and San Gabriel Valley upon request (email me). Folks please try and verify that the person you are requesting a photo for is actually in the cemetery listed. Too many times I've showed up at a cemetery and the person that the photo request is for, is not even interred at that cemetery. Each cemetery page usually has a phone number. Try calling it to verify that your loved one is there! a word for those who have 50 plus photo requests. It's easy to sit back and hit the request a photo button. Pick up the phone, call the cemetery and ask for grave locations! I often run into requests with incomplete information and end up helping with the research just to get it done, so help me and other volunteers by being thorough if possible and not guessing where someone "might" be buried!|

|Mike 44||RE: Frederick Banta|
Called the cemetery; Frederick Banta is buried in what the woman called West Section 6. He apparently does not have a stone, but he is buried in the space between Clifford Fuller and D. Gillis Scott. Not sure if Fuller has a stone, but Scott has a good sized stone with a flag carved on it. The woman suggested you stop at the office (between 9am and 4pm) and ask the people there to locate the specific grave site. She said they go to lunch from 12 to 1. If you cannot get there during regular hours, I hope you can locate Frederick's grave site as described above. Please take a couple pictures (various angles) when you do. Thank you so much for your kind assistance.

Hi, I wonder if you could transfer this memorial to me. This gentleman was my step-grandfather, my own grandfather having died before I was born, and he married my grandmother when I was about 7, and was really the only grandfather I ever knew. My Find a Grave number is 46545140. Thanks!

When I did a request on this one there were letters missing from the tablet. I sent a photo to them and see what they did. J

You photographed a double tombstone of Dave Levitt and his wife Anna, in the Agudath Achim Cemetery. I noticed that his wife's side did not have a date of death. But I found it in ancestry.com. So I have created a record for her and linked her to husband.
Would you mind copying your photo from his to hers, please?
This is a link to hers: https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=levitt&GSiman=1&GScid=2229002&GRid=183770897&

Thank you very much for taking the picture of Bora's headstone. The photos are great and I've long wondered what the site looks like. Thank you very much for your time to post these photos.

Wow! I talked to Resurrection Cemetery yesterday and the monument was ordered and paid for in full in 1985 but the order was never submitted. Apparently, they still have it on file and they will "expedite" it.
Without volunteers like you, this oversight may have never been discovered.
