If you are volunteering to take a marker photo for me PLEASE take pictures of the full marker and close-up shots if it is an older, worn marker where the details are hard to read. I would also not mind having a plot photo. Also, please do NOT use chalk.|
I have been taking photos of cemeteries and grave stones for over 20 years, starting back in the late '80s.
I've always enjoyed strolling through old cemetaries, taking in the history and admiring old headstones.
I mostly use Findagrave for genealogical research for various branches of my family tree including Streetman, Willis, Hendon, Price, Cook, Walling, Luce, Sims, Spence, Fulgham, Dean, Williams and Rogers, Alston, Alford, and more. After realizing how much this site has helped me I've decided to return the favor and help others.
If you would like to have the memorial of a family member transferred to you please do not hesitate to ask.

Check Find A Grave#52443304 for Callie C Brown b.1906 d.1990,same Evergreen Memorial Park, to see if this could be your ancestor, and there is a photo of her headstone with additional info at memorial/entry. If this doesn't match your Callie, let me know and I'll keep on searching.

|Richard Collins||RE: Shirley Ann Brashear Burnett|
Thanks for the encouragement. And thanks for putting her on FindAGrave. Will see what I can do. Richard
|Richard Collins||Shirley Ann Brashear Burnett|
I have been looking for Shirley for many years and found your page for her today. Her father/step father, Denver Brashear was married to my grandmother, Jewell Anna Truhitte Collins Brashear for many years (1948 until his death).
If you are on Ancestry, I have a tree with some of Shirley's information at
Denver always maintained that Shirley was not his child. Denver and Jewell are buried near Houston. His grave is 147131770, hers is 143272716. It is not clear on FindAGrave, but they are buried next to each other in Pearland.
I can determine if he was her father if anyone is interested and is willing to take the Ancestry DNA test.
did you get the notice on Fairway Cemetery? He was cremated not buried

Hi Tom - you added the photo to Claud Swann #62665420 in Guiceland Cemetery. Would you also please add it to his spouse Myrtle Hazel Collins Swann? Thanks!

Hi Tom: so sorry about the email you sent to me some time ago. I honestly cannot remember receiving it...you may not know that I am your 2nd cousin..your mom, Melba, was my 1st cousin...Melba's mom was my dad's sister. my dad was Harold Lethard Price. I appreciate all that you do for find a grave. I saw that you posted pictures of my late sister, Marie Price Gstohl, and I wondered where you received the photos. if by chance, you have any other photos of my family members I would love to see them. I lost my husband, March 16, 2016. again, thanks for all you do . Yuba Dell Price Crockett. June 1,1016

Thank you for looking for this headstone for me. Sorry if I led you on a wild goose chase since it wasn't located.
|Heather||RE: Edith Hudson|
Not only is she active but she's already responded! I'm about to add the photos & delete the memorial I created. I realize how unusual that is so I'm doing a happy dance!

Thank you for the information regarding my unintentional duplicate for Mrs. Hudson. I've reached out to the creator of the original memorial to edit the burial location and, as a courtesy, asked for permission to add the photos I took of the marker. Following those steps, I'll delete the memorial I created. I'll give her a chance to respond before asking for a merger.
Thank you, again, for bringing it to my attention.
