Dora Maxey Lightfoot
This is what I went by:
Tombstone is inscribed, ‘Dora Maxey Lightfoot, Wife of H.W. Lightfoot. Aged 27 years, 3 months, 10 days.’ Buried next to Henry W. Lightfoot.

Information from Historical Narrative accompanying Texas Historical Commission marker application: ‘. . . Maxey reopened his law practice in Paris and moved into his new home in 1868 with his wife and daughter, Dora. The Maxeys had adopted seven-year old Dora Rowell in 1863 after her father, one of Maxey’s men, had been killed at Shiloh.’

RE: Anne Elizabeth Houston Hanna--correct cemetery
I see memorial 33279766 shows the correct cemetery as Old New Hope Cemetery.

My source was the New Hope Cemetery sexton's records.

Anne Elizabeth Houston Hanna--correct cemetery
My dad was sexton for years of the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery established in 1868. I found Anne Elizabeth Houston Hanna in their records. The first, original New Hope Cemetery (referred to as Old New Hope Cemetery) is 1/4 mile northwest of the present cemetery around the New Hope Methodist church. Several stones were never moved to the new cemetery around the Methodist church. Anne Elizabeth Houston Hanna is on the list of the burials that are still located in the original, Old New Hope Cemetery. Thus, she is not in the sexton's cemetery records and not in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery est. in 1868.

RE: Gilmore Family in Texas
I don't know if this helps but may get you closer.

1900 Andrew M Gilmore, wife Fannie, children, Luela, Andrew, John, Willie, Ethel, Mirtle in Grayson County

1910 SS Gelmore (gilmore) widow, children Andrew, John, Willie, Ethel, Myrtle in Oklahoma.

Look on findagrave for Myrtle L Gilmore Bracey. There is biographical info that maybe useful including Fannie's name. It looks like Louela died in 1906.

RE: Gilmore Family in Texas
Too bad that they moved to Oklahoma! Texas has such good records. One of my greats "spring" died in Marlow, Stephens County, Ok. These Gilmore's are not in my branch but I will see if I find something. It is usually a misspelling of a name. I will be in contact if I find something.

Charles I think this is my Great Grandmother and I wonder if you know where Robert Hamptom is buried. I have seen many people are looking but I have never seen where he is buried. I think he died in Burleson but cant be sure. Also their son Robert Fletcher is my Grand Father. He and his children ( Robert Everette, Lois Estelle, and Charles Hampton) were estranged, but I would like to find what happened to him meaning Robert Fletcher.
My email is aintlester@yahoo.com Thanks,
Leslie Horton

RE: Gilmore Family in Texas
There were two lines of Gilmores associated with Grayson County. My Great-grandfather, Jefferson Davis Gilmore passed away and his widow Martha Paralee Brown Gilmore moved back to Grayson county with her children to be close to the Brown family. The other Gilmore related to me, John James Gilmore, was married to Julia Ann Brown, sister of Paralee. I dont recognize the name Robert on JD Gimores line but I am not as familiar withJohn Gilmores line, although I have logged a lot of it. If you have Facebook, go to Collinsville Memories and there are many people familiar with the histories and families. Do you know who Roberts father was? It sounds like you are looking for Ethel? Let me know how I can help. I love to search. Joan Gilmore Stutsma

You're welcome. I took my kit to clean up the grave marker and someone had beaten me to it. I just had to show their work!

RE: Francis Asbury Gilmore
Hi! I haven't been on this site in a long time and I saw your message--I'm not sure if I responded before so, please, bear with me! I don't know his actual death date. I was wondering if the letter was dated around the time they died? Does she mention who else died during that time? I might be able to find their death dates... Thank you! Carol
