Bio and Links
Born in Bay City, Texas to William Ray Wyatt and Dorothy Evelyn Brown, I lived in various locales in Texas all my life until 2003 when I married a Missouri man and moved to Camden County, MO where my grandfather was born.

I am a family historian concentrating on Wyatt, Wilmot, Brown, Bryan, Bradley, Meyer, Obenchain, Converse and Clinton lines.

I retired from IBM after 30 years of service and was a high school math teacher for 7 years prior to that.

I love to browse and make photographs in old cemeteries and a few years ago founded a perpetual fund for the Brown Cemetery established 1861 in Camden County, MO on the farm of my great-great grandfather, Lewis Sinclair Brown; I have also repaired tombstones there and added markers where needed.

RE: Robert Brooks (29440546)
You are very welcome. I wonder what chain of events lead him to Muhlenberg County, Kentucky!? He worked for W. G. Coal Company as a store manager. This company employed many residents for many years. The owner had a reputation for being fair and kind. If Robert is related to you, I will be happy to transfer his memorial to your care. Just send me a note.
It appears that he and his wife had three children, the third of which I just requested link requests.

Robert Brooks

I think I have solved the mystery of Robert Brooks ,memorial #29440546, with the notation:

"The 1900 census indicates Elvira had borne 7 children and 5 were alive. Since Robert Brooks is not found in the 1900 census, we presume he died between 1880 and 1900 but have found no records to confirm this or provide more information."

See memorial #11291019.

I look forward to hearing from you,
D. L.

RE: Thanks you for transferring Martha Patterson
Hello. None of these people are my family. I have a virtual cemetery with 139 people in Lot 204 of Mt. Moriah Cemetery. This was a result of my looking for my 2nd great granduncle Lewis McLachlan who died in 1877. I did find his grave. But, in the process, I ended up photographing over a hundred headstones in section 204. The Pattersons are included as a part of that group. I do not have the faintest idea of who they are and am more than happy to transfer your family to you. As for the previous erroneous parentage: that was a result of another Find A Grave contributor at some time submitting them as a "correction" that I, trying to help, simply approved. Best wishes.

RE: Photo Request - Elizabeth Sarah Tait
I've already fulfilled your photo requests.

I don't know if you got my original message... Dr. James and Susan Tait's headstones were the only one I found at that plot location. Sorry.

PS They were the only Taits located at that plot.

I'll post the headstone photo on their Find A Grave memorials. If it's not asking too much, could you submit photo requests for them first?
