Gabriel #95246218 & #3188456
I am researching Silas Gabriel, my great-great grandfather who married the widow Matilda Skaggs around 1890. There are two memorials for Matilda Gabriel and they both have incomplete information in some way.

#95246218 under Martha Matilda Moore Gabriel was created by you on Aug 12, 2012, and does not include her 2nd marriage to Silas George Gabriel or their child, Bessie E. Gabriel. Matilda's parents are also not listed.

#63188456 is under Matilda Moore Gabriel and was created by Anonymous on Dec 21, 20110. Her children by Noah B. Staggs are not included except for Alice. Her 2 marriage incorrectly lists Frank S. Gabriel. It is actually Silas George Gabriel. Her daughter Bessie Gabriel, and her parents are listed.

I do not know how these memorials are created and can't confirm Matilda's parents information or the Skaggs children. I am only certain that she was married to Silas George Gabriel and they had a daughter, Bessie Gabriel.

Can these memorials in Parker County, Texas be consolidated? Or, could you advise me as to the process? Perhaps edit #95246218 and delete #63188456?

Thank you,

Thank you for attaching the stone photo for Emolene Morris -- it helped to clear up some mis-information.

RE: David Page
Thanks! We do have a most interesting family. I didn't know that our ancestors were here before the Republic of Texas!!

I am the son of Juddie Rebecca LaGrone and William Albert Jones. My mother was the daughter of Cogie Rebecca Page and Belton Neal LaGrone. Cogie Rebecca Page was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Page, son of John David Page.

I am gratified to know that Aunt Edna's writings are preserved in Marshall. She was the wife of my mother's brother, Neal LaGrone.

I would certainly like to hear more of the Page family history. Should you like to correspond via email, I am steve(at)skjones(dot)net

John David Page
John David Page is my maternal GG Grandfather. Thank you for the information you provided.

I am curious about an 1835 land grant I found on the Texas GLO website from the Republic of Mexico to one David Page, for land in Smith County. Would the grantee David Page be John David Page's father, David Elijah Page?

All the best,
Stephen K Jones
