Old Oregon Trail & Pioneer Cemeteries
Hello again Bob, Your message said that you created the memorial for Grover Locke in Old Oregon Trail Cemetery. I find a memorial you created for Grover Locke in Pioneer Cemetery and it also has the photo you took of his grave -- along with one Cheryl took of the grave.
The memorial for Grover Locke in Old Oregon Trail Cemetery was created by Lorie and maintained by Cheryl. It does not have a photo of the gravestone.
Like so many of us, are you by any chance mixing the two cemeteries?
I am 90% sure that Cliff Nevins told us his sister Bertha was in Pioneer Cemetery where my husband's relative Joseph Rackerby Padrick is. Cheryl also believes that the photo she took of Bertha's grave was in Pioneer. I think Lorie also created a memorial for Bertha in Old Oregon Trial.
Something to keep us all busy sorting out. Merry Christmas. from NLM

Old Oregon Trail Cemetery
Hi Bob, Received your message regarding Grover Locke's burial site. I wasn't disputing his grave site. You and Cheryl can iron that one out. She took the photo of his headstone quite some time ago. Do you have a photo of that same headstone?
My concern was that Bertha Nevins and possibly others had been added to the Old Oregon Trail Cemetery. Bertha is not buried there. Some ancestry sites and others state that Old Oregon Trail and Pioneer are the same. To our recollection, they are not. Pioneer didn't seem to have as many headstones. My husband's relative Joseph Rackerby Padrick is buried there. When we were there in 1990, we spoke to Cliff Nevins (age 90) and he told us about his sister's grave. Please go to Bertha Nevins memorial in Pioneer Cemetery and read her story and her connection to Joseph R. Padrick. Cheryl took a photo of Bertha's grave years ago. I asked Cheryl to remove Bertha's duplicate memorial from Old Oregon Trail. Very confusing for all of us. Regards, wife and unpaid secretary to NLM.

The memorial number you provided for Milton Bennett comes back to Eliza Bennett.
