Bio and Links
Bio Photo Gravely and Morticia reside in Liberty, Mississippi, where they are the proprietors of Hardley's Mercantile and Accessories and Emma Mae's Right Fine Boiled Wash, where starched shirts are always 65 cents!
Several years ago, Gravely retired from the legal bench, after 30 years as a Lamar County Judge.

From time to time, we offer newly arrived items at Hardley's for the ladies. As we approach Fall, Hardley's Mercantile is pleased to offer newly arrived ladies parasols and fine silken undergarments, direct from Paris! Morticia extends a warm invitation to Liberty's ladies of means, to visit and consider a purchase of quality and class!

Shirley Milton Freeman Moore
Update: It seems that Shirley's maiden name is Freeman but I cannot locate her father but her mother, according to a source with no proof, was Gladys Moore. From there, I traced Gladys to three potential husbands: Unknown Freeman; John Audrey Milton and lastly, Ernest Edwin Moore. The reason was that Shirley was listed as Shirley Milton as the stepdaughter of John A. Milton in the 1930 Federal Census (Los Angeles, CA)along with Gladys. The SSDI for Shirley supports her being in California ad she is listed as having a SS number issued before 1951 in California. Gladys would have been 19 when she had Shirley in 1929 (in Seattle). No trace of them in the 1930 Federal census under the name of Freeman or Wheeler.

Lots to sift through, perhaps to no end

Shirley Milton Freeman Moore

This person is a mystery right now as I found a source that her mother was Grace Moore but her marriage certificate lists her as Shirley Milton Freeman when she married Ardy E. Johnson. I'm still working on her... so when new things come up, just check my future submissions/suggestions on her to you.

Sincerely yours,

Steubenville Cemetery
Regarding an old email you sent me about a photo request for Nancy Elizabeth Tuttle Eads: I believe Steubenville Cemetery has either been renamed or it is over grown and no one can find it. A few years ago I spoke to a local mortuary and they weren't even sure where it is. I do have some headstone photos for my relatives but, they were taken years ago. Maybe their are no finagravers in the area.
