While I had used Findagrave for several years, I finally became a member while working on a church history project. Later, I added memorials for my family, and then, I started photographing and adding entire cemeteries. My main interests are my family cemeteries and African-American cemeteries.

Please use the EDITS tab at the top of the memorial page if you want changes made or memorials transferred to you.

Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, IN, has been completely photographed. Most plats are already finished being added. There are just a few still in the process. Cemeteries that have been completely photographed (except for new burials) and added are:

Clark Co., IN

Floyd Co., IN
Finley or Findley
Grant Line United Methodist Church
Holy Trinity (rear half only)
Saint Mary Catholic, New Albany

Lincoln Co., KY

Thank you for your service and reply! I will find out the name of the cemetery and update her. :-) I like how you worded that...

All of the information. I am so sorry. I saw the gravestone and thought it was him. But I have since found his death certificate saying he was buried in Mount Calvary cemetery.

RE: Annie Shouse
Ugh! She got around! I think I will just give her a "pass" in terms of the Shouse history book. Thanks for all your information, it has been most helpful. I don't think I would have un-covered all those marriages on my own.

Annie Shouse
Again, thank you for replying and sending the correct way to get to IN death certificates. I got there, and the certificate is for Annie Evelyn SPURGEON Shouse, not Anna Stickan. Granted the Ancestry link sends you to the Stickan grave, but I believe that is a bad link. The husband, Woodson Shouse, also causes problems, as the only Woodson known is in KY, not IN. I appreciate your help and will work on this to see if I can solve it.

RE: Annie Shouse
Thanks for the reply. I think she died in IN, as she is buried there, but all I find on Ancestry are deaths up to 1920 and she died in 1948. Is there a record on there that I'm missing? All I keep finding is an Annie who married an Applegate. But he died before 1940 so she could have married a Shouse after 1940. But I can't find that either.
