I have been doing genealogy for the last fifteen years. The main names I am researching are Abernathy, Coley, Higgins, Howell, Knight, Ledford, Roach, Moss, Whitmore, and Williams.|
My other hobby is photography. I take photos of everything from cemeteries to concerts.
If you see any of my photos that are very tiny (ie. the size of a postage stamp), please let me know. Several years ago, the Find A Grave website had a weird glitch that made dozens and dozens of my photos the size of a thumbnail pic. I did not upload these tiny pictures. If you will let me know, I can hopefully replace them with a normal size picture.
Please note that I don't have editorial control over memorials that are listed as famous. If changes or corrections need to be made, please contact the Find A Grave admins.
I have created a website dedicated to my family cemetery, the Old Macedonia Cemetery of Bartow County. You can find it by following the link below.
And please be aware that just because I have taken a cemetery photo, it does not mean that I operate the cemetery or have anything to do with the cemetery. I only took a photograph.
Any photos that were taken by me may be used on genealogy websites such as ancestry.com. You have my permission. All I ask is that I am given photography credit.

|jaxjonesing||Joseph Barron Burton|
He is Joseph Baron, same as Find A Grave memorial #36597709. He is my husband's 3X Great Grandfather.

Hi, I don't know why you have her listed as Elizabeth Collins Burton, her last name was Barron. She is my husband's 3X Great Grandmother. This is the same person as Find A Grave memorial #36597745, Elizabeth Collins Barron.

|Linda Hufstetler||Memorial # 11076624|
Margie Hufstetler, my aunt, was moved from Waleska Baptist Cemetery to the Georgia National Cemetery and was re-interred with her husband, Harold Eugene "Gene" Hufstetler upon his death. At the time of her death, the Georgia National Cemetery was not yet available for veteran burials. Her daughter, Deborah Hufstetler Joyce, made the decision, which would have been her mother's wish, to move her mother. Uncle Gene was torn between his desire to be buried next to his wife and his hope to be buried with his brothers. Deborah made the difficult decision to honor her father's dual wishes with the full support of the family.

I have a reference here on page 3 of GREER MEN, book dated 1953 that reads: Gilbert Dunlap Greer married Mrs. Ann Lewis Wellborn, can you expound on that any?

A brief mention of the passing of Col. W. M. Tate on "Wednesday" appears in the central news column of page 1 of the North Georgia Citizen, on Thursday, 25 Feb. 1897. http://dlg.galileo.usg.edu/ngnewspapers/id:ngc1897-0041 (accessed 13 Jan. 2017).

Hi, You have a memorial: 10343058. I inadvertently created a duplicate memorial, Find A Grave Memorial# 174402288. The lady's name was different in census, etc., and so I did not find your page when I searched. Someone has recently pointed out my error and led me to your memorial. The problem is, we now have a lot of relationship links to this new memorial, and some of the links originate in memorials maintained by other people (will take some time to request edits). I hate to ask--would you be willing to delete this memorial, even though it was first? I would be willing to transfer my memorial to you, or make some other trade-off...

I am still researching the Hendricks line and came upon an interesting find. John Calhoun Masters born 1839 died 14 March 1933 and buried at Saluda Hill in Pickens has a death certificate at Ancestry #004200. In this death certificate as mention in his obit on his findagrave page, his daughter Margaret Thomas was the informant on the certificate. On that certificate it mentions parents of John Calhoun as John Masters and Edith Sawyers. On the 1850 S.C. Census John C is found living with his parents John Masters 70y and Edy 50y with siblings Susan 23y, Robert 18y and John C 8y. I cannot find them further but will keep searching. You have John Calhoun listed with the William M Masters and Temperance Cassell but in looking at their census record, the only son they had was John H who was born 1836 and died 1880 and married Frances "Fanny" Sutherland. John H is buried at Saluda Hill in Easley. I don't believe John Calhoun is the son of William and Temperance. I'll let you check it out and see what you think. (John Calhoun's son James Madison married Margaret Elizabeth McJunkin, whose mother was a Hendricks)

|Jean Wilson||Margaret Borthwick Elder|
I noticed there are 2 memorials on this woman. Yours was made Jan. 21, 2007, #17616367. The other was Margaret Elder by Barry White done 5/27,2007 # 19558918. I believe yours had the correct dates. Maybe you can correct this. I'll contact Barry. Thanks.
