RE: Damaris Dyal Bryan
Hi Virginia:

I am sorry to be so late in responding--I just hadn't checked this email in the last couple of days.
Certainly you have my permission to upload the photo to Ancestry. I am pleased to be of assistance.

I am most delighted to transfer management of your ancestors. :)

Those yearbook photos are available thru either ancestry or the NC yearbook collection on gen web. You don't really need my permission, however proper documentation from the original source helps all researchers.

RE: Elias Sutton
CW Writer, Thanks for the nice comments. I have a local website that has information on where Elias was 1st buried; if you are interested. The Confederate Cemetery as not set up until 15 years after the battle. The Federal Cemetery was set-up 5 years after the battle. Let me know if you are interested in the website. Take care, Toni

Fill free to do so. Glad to do it.Several years ago in 1980's Lindsay Troxler told me the Stone was bought in by wagon and a team of mules. It came in on a train car to Brown Summit. Then put on a wagon to bring to the cemetery. They had to cross a creek got stuck or ran into high water took an extra couple day,s to get it there. This is second hand information. So I don't know if this true. CG Campbell

RE: Sarah Sutton
Literacy wasn't very high on the priority list around here around the turn of the century and I think that spilled over to the grave carvers as well. I have seen some butchered family names in all my travels.I'd like to say that's why I missed them the first time through but I must have walked right past them because a lot of the other Suttons were buried right around them!

You have requested a photo of E.L. Owen d: 1864. Blandford Cemetery has a E.L. Owen but his d: is 2-9-1866. Is this the Owen you are looking for?
