I served 25 years in the United States Army retiring as an E8 (Master Sergeant) 1976-2002. I served as a Chemical and Technical Escort NCO.|
I am proud to be a Desert Storm veteran, serving in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
After Retiring from the US Army, I became a Department of the Army Civilian, serving with the 4th Infantry Division, deploying three times with them to Kuwait and Iraq from 2005 - 2008.
I am a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and proudly support the family of fallen Veterans.
A long time Motorcycle rider with over 1.5 million miles riden.
I have only been a member of Find a grave for over six year and I enjoy taking photos of grave yards for those that are far away from their ancestor's graves.

BELTON — Private services for Richard “Dick” Bliss, 91, of Little River-Academy will be held at a later date.
Mr. Bliss died Tuesday, March 22, at a Temple hospital.
He was born Sept. 9, 1924, to Lawrence and Georgia Fox Bliss in Sandy Valley, Pa. He served in the U.S. Navy, 1942-44. He was a 32nd degree Mason. On Sept. 24, 1950, he married Nina Robinson. He was a supervisor for Southwestern Bell for 36 years and retired in 1982.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Oct. 16, 2015.
Survivors include a brother, Leonard Bliss of Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Ethel Marshall of Pennsylvania and Emma Marucci of North Carolina.
Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Belton is in charge of arrangements.

He is my nephew. I live two hours a way from Godfrey. I have his obituary from the Alton Telegraph and his photo, if you would like to include them. I believe he is buried close to his mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Mildred Niemeier. Mildred is my sister.
