Hi - you left the following message for Elizbeth Long:

Elizabeth Long is my Great-Great-Great-Great Grandmother. She was born 9 Dec 1740 and died 28 May 1803.

Added: Dec. 14, 2008

Further research has proven this woman is Elizabeth Henderson Long - they are free black, mulatto, african. Does this still make her your great -gr -gr grandmother. If not was hoping you could remove the message posted in her flowers. Thank you. Not related, just trying to keep things accurate

I am the (very great)granddaughter of Ben Newton Anglin. Willam and Chloteal Anglin were my grandparents, and they raised me. I would like to share information back and forth with you on the history of the Anglin family. I have it traced back to James Anglin from Ireland to Wilkes County, Ga. My e-mail address is Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

Gough - Neosho Co, KS
I am very interested in exchanging information with you on your Gough ancestors in Neosho Co, KS. I know they came from Highland Co, OH and yesterday I received numerous items naming Sarah C and A. G. Gough with lengthy testimonies from each stating a plethora of information that led me to your post on findagrave that you are a descendant. Do you have a copy of their marriage record? The online index, if this is them, lists him as Andrew Goff--could be a transcription error, but she is named as Sarah R. trying to verify it is indeed them. More confusing is what appears to be another A. G. Gough also in Neosho Co, KS in mid 1880s..this one I found documented elsewhere as Asher G. Gough married 11 Dec 1867 McCracien Co, KY to Mary A. N. Walker and what appears to be this same Asher G. Gough later married 02 Sep 1892 in Neosho Co, KS to Mary A. Koontz...THX!

You requested a photo of this person. Mr. Lewis has located these in the wrong cemetery. I photographed her myself and she and John are located in the Zion Freewill Baptist Church in Early Co.. I refuse to post them in the wrong cemetery. On this end, I do not see a cemetery by that name. If this keeps up, it will be hard to stop.

request for Hugh Gough @ Damon Cemetery
hi there,I found your request and will be posting pictures for you shortly - it appears to me that the name on the marker reads Hiramm and the D.o.D. is incorrect as well - unfortunately the original creators of the memorial have passed away so I;d recommend asking the Find A Grave ppl to transfer it to you so you can edit the information as you please...hope the picture turned out ok,I went looking for Mr. Gough before this past winter and didn't have luck the 1st time but things worked out today :)

thanks & best wishes,
